Does someone know the exact situation with the pick we owe NJ?

    Don't know if thread worthy but;does anybody know for sure if this pick lottery protected, or protected through 18th pick?

    Doubt a question that can be answered with one post is thread worthy..but whatever. It's lottery protected.

    protected to the 14th pick. If the pick lands in there, its ours and NJ has our 2013 pick. If not, it's ours.

    We need to lose that pick this year. It turns out the draft isn't that deep after all and we don't want to be on the hook for next year because it hinders our trading ability to have a first round pick we owe to NJ because we can't include it in other trades as long as it's hanging over our heads.
