Trayvon Martin

One anonymous witness claimed this. Zimmerman's nose was not broken. He was treated by paramedics and didn't even need to see a medical doctor for his injuries.

cell phone records prove that Martin was on the phone at the time, and the person he was talking to has different claims of what happened.

A fake twitter about Tayvon attacking a bus driver is a sad attempt. It appears to be a fake, but who knows. Either way it doesn't change the facts in his death.

resisting without violence = battery on police officer?

I thought we were finished with the media distorting the story here.

 

Even when they show a history of violence, including stalking people?

I tried to keep it objective, despite my personal opinion, but now it's on par with blaming the rape victim. Sad.

Theses are the same folks who argue we murder the unborn child but murdering people that walk is subjective. Sometimes we care ...other times not so much.

Is it not possible to stay objective AND have your opinion change as new facts are still being released about both parties? That's like saying one opinion is right from the start, and it's not allowed to change.

Now all of the people who were:
screaming racist at everyone asking for more facts;
claiming anyone questioning the false reports were defending child murdering scum,
screaming for Zimmerman to be lynched;

are leaving the thread now that more facts are coming out?

 

An ATF agent said Zimmerman cursed him, push him, and there was a struggle. Zimmerman's claim was that the agent never identified himself, not that that there was no violence.

 

Maybe. It might be stalking, which is illegal. Maybe one of our lawyerly foreign nationals can tell us. It definitely is intimidating though and can make someone feel like they are in imminent danger. Follow a girl around Rice University campus at night and time how long it takes before a cop stops you. As for the assault, it isn't relevant unless it's unprovoked, which we don't know and cannot know. I'm ready to agree that Martin probably punched Zimmerman. But, if he's defending himself, it's allowed.

I don't think Martin should have punched him. He should have taken his girlfriend's advice and ran home. But, apparently Florida isn't a place where one avoids conflict. Those Floridians stand their ground, meet force with force, and escalate violence with more violence, so I can understand why he didn't run.

You're right, I forgot that they live to sell this as a devil killing an 11 year old angel then totally shift and paint it as a responsible adult killing a thug. Making note to never apologize for ruining a guys life, enraging millions of people, or building up and then selling down the river a dead man.
