Oh no, a victim of a possible punch to the face by 140 lbs kid known as slim that would not have occurred if he had listened to police vs. Victim of a fatal gunshot
I'm very interested in due process. It's been neglected in this case. There was enough evidence to arrest Zimmerman. Then he's free to defend himself in court on the grounds of self-defense. There are witnesses the police never talked to, and should have at least detained a possible dangerous and armed person who'd just killed an unarmed person.
That photo was recently released. Zimmerman's mug shot looks like a normal ass picture. I had no idea it was a mugshot until somebody said it was.
Well Zimmerman has a background with the police and has been arrested and Trayvon didn't so I'm not going to tell you where you should be looking for answers to who could be the aggressor but one had a semi criminal history and the other had gold teeth and tattoos. Which one should be looked at more closely?
It does not appear so. It appears now that Treyvon was clearly the aggressor obviously the new evidence needs to be investigated more but it's looking more and more like self defense and that the police acted appropriately.
your bias is showing a mugshot is hardly a normal picture. County Orange + a depressed look and the 6 year old Travyon Martin "Hollister" picture is a joke
Was not aware that the right of self-defense includes an exception if the aggressor only weighs 140 pounds. By the way, I have also seen it reported that Martin actually weighed 160, not 140.
It only appears that he was clearly the aggressor if you ignore the witnesses that contradict the witnesses that claim he was. And as has been said even if Martin punched first, that doesn't justify shooting and killing him, and isn't life threatening in most cases. If you look at all the witnesses and had listened to them, there is certainly enough evidence to apprehend Zimmerman.
Actually, I thought he was wearing an orange collared shirt, and sorry, in my world, people don't smile in every picture.
You don't press charges against someone unless there is evidence that he is guilty of a crime. It is not illegal to use terminal force to defend yourself in Florida. The fact that Zimmerman shot and killed Treyvon is not evidence that Zimmerman broke any laws at all. In fact there is evidence that Zimmerman did in fact kill Treyvon in self defense. Exactly what laws did Zimmerman brake that would have him arrested?
Please provide a link to these witnesses' information, because it directly contradicts what was in the LA Times article I posted earlier. http://www.latimes.com/news/nation/n...,4845076.story
OMG, 20 lbs? Have you seen the pictures of this kid? He is ridiculously skinny. Once you've stalked a person who was doing nothing wrong, you lose the right to self-defense. You certainly don't get the right to shoot the person.
You mean the photos that are years old? And he was a football player no? You make it sound like he was a weakling.
The problem is that there is very hard evidence that Treyvon punched Zimmerman, knocked him to the ground and slammed the back of his head on the side walk. All of this while Zimmerman was trying to walk back to his car. it appears very clear that Treyvon had overpowered Zimmerman and if slamming the back of your head is not a threat to your life then I don't know what is. This certainly appears self defense by the legal definition. So on what grounds do the police have to press charges against Zimmerman?
