You should have followed them to the parking lot and kill the bf when no one's around. Then she'd be yours forever.
I went the bar yesterday to meet my gf after work she wouldn't answer my phone, I was really worried, and then I saw her hitting on another guy at the bar. I cried myself to sleep
This happened to me once at Texxas Jam, Cotton Bowl, 1982. And once on a plane. And once on business trip. And once on a vacation. And... well, you get the picture. I still remember one of the names. She's now an MD in Memphis.
No, she wasn't. She was secure about her own womanhood talking to another guy while she had a boyfriend. She knew she could say NO to you at anytime and say "No, I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend." Don't go around thinking that every girl that smiles or says "hi!" to you in a courteous and polite manner is "into you," or you'll be MISERABLE for the rest of your life. Could she have broken up with that dude in a few months and called you for some "rebound" time or maybe a permanent thing? Maybe. I wouldn't discard that idea were I not happily married. THINK: "I'm a man that easily spoke to a woman like that, so I can do it again and find out if she has a boyfriend later without getting shot down."
Some girls initiate things though. Then you find out (from them, no less) they're with someone, and it's like "huh?" Is this just a friends thing? Does she just want more attention? They flirt, throw some signs, and even trash their current boyfriend. Of course later, it's our fault we misread things.
I don't know, but when they throw signs, I usually just call it a day. Things are tricky enough without gang warfare.
