Wow, I've got at least 3 guys ahead of Dragic. He's been producing really well the past couple of weeks, but c'mon, it's only a couple of weeks.

people....yall gave Dragic 57% of the vote? Yall do realize Lowry>Dragic even tho he's hurt. I would say Dragic is #2 but not the best for sure.

I'm having a hard time deciding who. That goes to tell you the status of the team - bunch of good players, yet no alpha dog...

Wow. 9 games and clutch fans has changed sides. What a shocker. Dragic is a good player, but it seems like people just forgot what Lowry was doing this year.

I would vote Dragic over Lowry and saw every game this year.

Hey Borch, you were supposed to keep that on the down low. Your fellow Slovenians will have to kill you now.

Well duh. You have been a Lowry hater since Morey matched his offer sheet.

I too voted Dragic tho and I like Lowry. The offensive flow just seems much smoother with Dragic and he is better at staying in front of his man.

The Rockets are very fortunate that this is even debateable. There's no question IMO that Lowry is the better player than Dragic. You can debate this all day long. You could go back a few years and alot of people would have taken Devin Harris over Steve Nash. With Lowry & Dragic, it really has yet to be written who is the better PG. They offer a little bit different, but still have similar production value.

So who is better for this team right now?.... IMO its Lowry. The Rockets need that alpha dog. Someone with a bulldog competitive spirit who isnt afraid of the big moment along with having all-star quality PG ablilities.

I love Dragic, but your kidding youself if you think that Dragic is that much better than Lowry. The truth is, they are both pretty damn good for different reasons.

-Also, the fact that a rookie 2nd round pick in Parsons is even getting votes is pretty amazing too.

Ehem, Lowry is not exactly an alpha dog, he disappeared in many clutch moments and played hot potato instead of taking over. Remember that one game where he just gave it to Dragic every time or tried to pass it to K-Mart nnear the halfcourt line instead of running something? Lowry isn't your answer to a team captain that carries a team. Maybe these games were a fluke, but I don't see it in him right now.

Do you recall the Portland overtime game... January 14th??? Back when Portland was playing like the best team in the West. I cant recall the game your talking about off the top of my head. Too many great performances this year where he has carried the team down the stretch that I guess ive forgotten about the one or two games they lost that had anything to do with a poor performance by Lowry alone.

Im sure he's botched a few opportunities late in games this year. He is the Point Guard, and his ball is supposed to be in his hands down the stretch late in games mind you.

Just because you guys want to prove a point doesn't mean you have to start bashing Lowry. Damn. They are both good, you dont have to try to prove something here.

Ehem, did you read my full post? I explicitly pointed out that he gave the ball away to Dragic or other players instead of carrying it. You're actually supportin my point with that.

2nd, where did I bash him or try to prove something?

It's hilarious how knee-jerk this forum is. Three weeks ago Dragic wouldn't be top 3 and now, after showing no appreciable gain in skills, he's 1.

Ehem... Yes I did read your post. You just mentioned that he dissapeared in big moments did you not? Again, I dont know what game you are talking about, but Ive watched every single game this season, and Im having a really difficult time remembering a single game where he played the "T-Mac/Toronto Game" card.

All I remember is the Portland overtime game, the SA Spurs game, the Denver game where he took over in the final 4 minutes of the game. He had his share of poor games this year like every other NBA player, but it wasnt for lack of effort. If your accusing Lowry of being the kind of a guy that takes games off, which is what it seems like your insinuating, then you've been watching a different NBA team than I have this year, and thats just your opinion vs. mine I guess.

How about you pull up some of those games your talking about so I can see what your talking about? Im seriously interested in taking a deeper look into this and making sure Im not looking at this as too much of a "Homer." There are games this year where I know he struggled in the boxscore, but I want to see some of these plays where he is checking out of games mentally.

Plus, its not really you alone on this. Many other here are just trying to prove a point because someone dissagrees with them and they just cant let it go. The fact is, they are both damn good point guards, and the Rockets are lucky that Phoenix gave him and 1st round pick to the Rockets last year. Without that deal the Rockets might not have been able to work the draft right to Donatas Montiejunas along with Dragic being a Rocket this year.

Look Dragic is beasting it up but don't forget Lowry's beastly stats at the beginning of the season. Short sample size as of now.

Yeah, one of the worst posts of the day so far. First off, agreeing with DD. ;)
Secondly the whole Foreigner thing is ludacris. I dont care if you come from the Arctic Circle for crying out loud. If you can ball, you can ball for me.
