Ouch. Basically what I was predicting in this thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=217417 If we're lucky he'll be back for the last few games but will be coming off the bench.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Kyle Lowry back at shootaround on Monday said he does not know if he will play again this season. Will be long road back after anti-biotics.</p>— Jonathan Feigen (@Jonathan_Feigen) <a href="https://twitter.com/Jonathan_Feigen/status/184308513948958720" data-datetime="2012-03-26T15:59:08+00:00">March 26, 2012</a></blockquote> <script src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I swear the damn organization is cursed Does the best player on the team never stay healthy or something, what is this bs.
That **** can get chronic if the antibiotics don't kill it completely, had something similar happen to me.
I don't think we are making the playoffs now. This is a devastating blow. He's our best player and we don't have the depth to keep Goran fresh.
This infection may have been more serious than they let on. If he's that weak simply from a round of antibiotics, they did some serious napalming of his system.

We already basically knew this was going to happen. When a guy is out that long with a serious illness, his conditioning really suffers. This is the first we've heard of him doing any basketball activities so that means he's just getting started getting back into game shape. The season ends in 1 month, not a lot of time to get back in shape. I don't think this means we are going to miss the playoffs. We are hanging in there. If Dragic can continue his high level play we might sneak in.
My money is on Morey trading him this offseason for an all-star. So if he goes on a championship run I bet it will be with another team
Like I said, had something similar happen to me and been out for months, lost 25 pounds, was a bad case though. Infections can be really serious, I doubt he'll play again this season.
