I can't believe how many people are in Dragic's camp after a short little 9-game stint... during which, I believe, we're only 5-4. I mean I love Dragic, and he is 100% legit, but he has not earned THIS much respect already. Lowry is still our best player and deserves that starting spot when he gets back.

And complete dud of a rebounder, passer, defender, leader, etc. He also hasn't had an impressive FG% the past 4 years.
He had one season of 23.5 with the Rockets.....that is very good to be fair. And his Sacramento days are things of the past. Good scorer at best but not this season. Average this season and that is being friendly if you look at his road statistics.
You may want to holler "knee jerk" and talk about fans being "what have you done for me lately" but even if you tie into some of that, the results are still pretty overwhelming. Most of us can see that Dragic is doing more on the court than Lowry was. Now maybe that is because Lowry has been hurt for a while. I think Lowry can probably play better than what he was playing. And I definitely think Dragic and Lowry are 1-2 the best players on this team. IF...you believe Lowry is better than Dragic, THEN...you probably don't believe he's miles better than Dragic...UNLESS you are myopic. I have no argument with those that believe Kyle is better. Because he's been our best player for quite some time now. The fact is....the two best players on our team play point guard and it's not even close going down to the next best player on the team. Kyle and Dragic run away with best player. Just a little street evidence that if we can re-sign Dragic and trade Kyle for an All-Star Big, we should do that......that is if we don't get Deron Williams to sign here. And even if we get Deron Williams, I am of the opinion that we should do our best to sign Dragic anyways because of his value.
I'm surprised to see Dragic end up winning in a landslide. I think him and Lowry are very close in talent level and Lowry probably still edges him out. It does show how upset the fans will be if we lose Dragic in the offseason.
Right now Dragic is our best player, IMHO. Our box scores are fairly balanced, though; whether we wind up mediocre (yet again) or early-70s Knicks great remains to be seen. It's all about ball movement and hustling D.
