    Hopefully this was him rehabbing from an injury or something, because if that's just his regular workout, we might be screwed.

    That looks like rehab workouts. He's not doing anything that requires explosion or quick twitch muscles.

    He tore his tricep and was on IR last season so it's likely that he wasn't able to workout for a while.

    what I read somewhere is that players do mainly lifting in the offseason because they are not able to do so during the season due to wear and tear on their body. Maybe that's what it was, not sure.
