I decided to play a ranked match again and, of course, the guy picks the Clippers. Then he proceeds to hack every second that I have the ball. I'd throw it in to Dragic and he would stand 5 feet away to try to take the charge. I'd go around him and hit the turbo button, but he would run up behind me with Paul and steal the ball away. Courtney Lee had 8 turnovers because every time he touched the ball it was an automatic steal. It was close all game, then during the last 2 minutes he just kept throwing up alley-oops to Blake Griffin... and every single one of them worked. I got it to within 3 points with 5 secs left and I run down the court to try to shoot the 3 (since the Auto timeout spent all of mine), but Lowry kept moving forward when I tried to shoot and ended up throwing up a mid-range shot instead of a three pointer. That was the kind of game that reminded me why I took a break in the first place.
I almost lost the plot playing the CPU the other day, I call it the magic magnetic ball. Throw a pass to your player and it somehow diverts into their hands, offensive rebound after offensive rebound and worst of all is the moving screen call!
Yea I haaaate these things you mentioned. Plus it always seems like the CPU knows which player you passing to and anticipates it to get the steal, plus the cpu guys got eyes in the back of their heads.
I was just about to add that. Yesterday I slammed throught the back of the board! The game play needs some work, but overall it is the best basketball game around. THE SPEED! I almost forgot! On a fast break, how fast do the opposition get back on D? Usain Bolt fast! BUT! You can almost never catch them on the break. Speed rating means nothing at all on this game.
Just played 3 online games. Blew all 3 out. I played with the rockets against the heat, the bulls and the heat. I put in bud as my starter to have a lineup of dragic/lee/bud/scola/dally with lowry and parsons coming off the bench primarily. I used one play 65 to 70 percent of the time. I called an iso, waited a few seconds, told lee to cut to the basket, alley oop. Worked almost every time. The first one rage quit in the 4th after I did this 3 times in a row after he cut it down to 10. The second person tried to come back with rose to noah alley oops but blew most of them (after he was down by 15ish). The third guy with the heat was just terrible. I was down 5 after the first because I couldn't stop lebron's drive. I switched to a zone and he scored 15 (FIFTEEN) in the last 3 quarters. I went off with alley oops and bud threes. Then I added some poster dunks with parsons/lee. Good day.
How can anyone play this game using any camera but 2kCam? 2kCam is obviously the only camera one should use.
I play broadcast  Unless it is my player. I can play on both, but I guess I like to see what is going on throughout the court so I can see everyone who is open
I hate 2kcam because of the side switch after possession changes. Gets really ynnoying when you supposed to be on transition and want to ran to the basket without delay. I use Broadcast when playing 1on1 and Turbo for team up.
Bump again, Andrew Bynum has officially arrived on 2k. Don't let the 87 rating fool you, he's WAY better than Dwight on offense. He scores from the post at a Yao Ming 2k level. And his defense is also stellar. I routinely put up 35, 13, 4 blks with him on 9 minute quarters. I don't like to cheese and use the Lakers or Heat online, but, if someone picks the Heat, grab the Lakers and you'll s**t all over them in the post.
For anyone who plays association, notice that if you have a big(PF, C) the next year they might not be shooting as well, for some reason the computer always increases their tendency to shoot 3s after each year and you have to manually change it....what the
