I always wondered why people hated on Clyde as TV analyst....

Clyde isn't all that good of an announcer, but I don't have a big problem with him.

 

Just ignore him and watch the game .. you guys are just on some kind of hate bandwagon and pick apart everything the man says.All announcers state the obvious and say stupid things.Clydes earned his place in Houston sports and the NBA .. if you don't like it watch something else or turn down the volume.

i agree with you... i dunno i find his commentary funny and refreshing... ppl here wanna hate to hate

 

im pretty sure we have some people on the board that would be more qualified than Clyde. i think im better, and im 15..Scola? he is not on that level. LOL

 

Gotta give clyde credit though, he is enjoying life. Basically does no preparation for his job as an commentator, only does home games, and still gets paid.

Not bad Clyde, not bad.

 

I'm coming out of hibernation to agree with this 15 year old.

My favorite piece of unintentional comedy was he and bill discussing Lee's late shot, Clyde is saying it's a 2 and bill responds "if you're from Houston you think it's a 3, but in Dallas it's a 2." without a hint of irony, clydes does a 180 spin that would have put his formerly athletic self to shame: "yeah it's gotta be a 3."

I guffawed at that one, he's just so blissfully unaware

 

Bill + Clyde is so uncomfortable. "You haven't worked a day in your life."
