I cited no claims to whether it was accidental or not. If EITHER person initiated contact then that eliminates it being accidental. You aren't arguing any points I presented but quoted my post to seemingly do just that.

Certainly agree about Rodman and Maxwell.

Camby made a play for the ball & did block the shot. That's a legit basketball play. Yes, it was a hard foul; but it was legal.

Sorry, I watched the vid without sound. Didn't see the hand shove. I'd now have to say a F1 is warrented. Does anyone know what the final call was?

Also, I agree with Shaud that consistency in NBA officiating is a major problem.

It was a F1. I thought they would have gave him a F2 based on the score. Seems like it was a frustrating foul.

I'm all for the 80's fouls but it's obvious Stern wanted to eliminate that. He's more concerned with the NBA having a good image.

It's because Camby is a Rocket now so he's allowed to give hard fouls like that. However, if he were on the Clippers or Heat then he should be suspended for the year with a foul like that. (according to clutchfans). :p

I love how on that video, Collins ignores how dirty Fisher is and just basically praises him for a minute about how "tough" he is. Yeah a blind side shiver to Scola, what a tough guy.

Sometimes Blake just has to be himself.

The flopping and falling down is the real Blake. The macho stuff is an act.

I don't watch much NBA outside of the Rockets, so.... why all the hate on Griffin? Any examples? That ejection seemed justified. You don't lower your shoulder into a guy while he's running in for a layup/dunk. A hard foul is one thing, but nobody should be expecting to get tackled going in for a layup.

He's a hardcore flopper. Check out all his ridiculous flops against other teams. There are a dozen on Youtube.

Yup, hear that floppers in the nba, if you flop, you deserve the elbow in the air or the shoulder tackle if you're going to the rim.

Jason Smith just became one of my favorite players with that play.

Not to the extent of how Blake is doing it. NBA players during the 70's-80's will shake their head watching Blake today.

No, a flop is a player barely being touched or not being touched at all and falling over or throwing they're head back ect, exaggerating contact is getting fouled but adding unnecessary things to sell the contact like screaming, throwing your arms out, holding a part of your body pretending to be hurt and staying on the floor for an unnecessary amount of time.

Actually Magic Johnson was flopping before Divac was born.

Same. I'd be thrilled if the Rockets signed him.

Only because most of those players can't hang with an athlete like Blake and wish they were born later.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar says you are high. And Akeem Olajuwon says GTFO.

If Chuck Hayes can hang with Griffin, I'm pretty sure a lot of athletes in the 80s could.
