Bump. Chandler Bang and Goran Dragic both got upgrades! Chandler is now up to 73 with good reb's and a mid range shot. His on ball D is still underrated at 76 but he's still unproven. Dragic is now a 70 with better passing, ball security and on ball D(79). Wish they would've also bumped C Lee but you can't ask for too much attention to the Rox from 2k.
Dracic is still way underrated. It would be ok if they compensate it with potential, my guess is they didn't.
Parsons is athletic as **** now in the game. If you have any driving lane to the basket, he'll posterize someone.
Before I always edited him so he would finish the dunks and oops, but now he's about right. The only thing is he's not a very good ball handler, even when he was 66 I tried to use him at PG because of how he played at Florida. But, he also hasn't been called upon to play point in real life yet, so hopefully he shows his pg passing skills soon.
I've played against the Heat about 7 or 8 times now and Parsons can really defend LeBron pretty well for the most part (even when LeBron makes the shot). I'm glad his man to man defense has improved.
After 3 seasons in my player, finally maxed out my skills, working on attributes now. Rated 99 and signed my first contract at 14 mil a season.
The beauty of playing 2k12 on computer is getting to use Alby's roster. Those roster updates are much more accurate for every team around the entire league. It doesn't seem like 2k gets the ratings even remotely close sometimes. Courtney Lee is rated 75 with an A for outside shooting.
^^ Ew, I can't stand playing vs. the CPU, it's cheesy as hell with all the cherrypicks/magic rebounds and you always have one cpu player going Jordan mode, hitting everything.
Just played 2 great online games vs lakers and heat. I lost by 4 vs lakers though I was down 10ish and came back to take the lead only to blow it. Darn rockets. If anyone is up for a game later on, my psn is: rockets94-95
I took about a 3-4 week break from this game, and I decided to pick it up again a couple of days ago. I'm falling back in love with it. I just played some scrub online that picked the Clippers (I had the Rockets, of course), and all he could do was turbo up the court after every rebound then pass it out for a three pointer. If I stopped that, he would slow down his offense, throw it to a Jordan or Griffin, post up, and then do the spin move around my guy. It made me laugh because I knew exactly how to stop it, but I didn't do it just so he could get some confidence. It was close all game, then with about 2:20 left in the 4th (he was up by 5) I went to the 2-3 zone. He didn't score a single point after that and I won by 7. I love putting scrubs in their place.
Had my best game in a while yesterday, me usin Nets vs. Warriors. Both of us went all-in with Deron and Curry, both shakin the defender 1on1, throwin dishes and makin in yo face shots. I was down 2 with 10sec to go and took the timeout. Deron had 20+ points and was 5-7 from 3 at that point, so I called Iso, dribbled at the top of the 3pt line, faked a drive, went back through the legs and swished an awesome three pointer. So, 0.7sec left in the game and opponent calls a timeout. He fakes a drive with the offball player, drove past my defender with Curry(all off-ball, inbound still had to happen) and somehow received the ball near the basket to make the close layup. It went to that animation sequence where the ref checks the replay, POW basket counted and he won. Wasn't disappointed as this was my best online experience in months.
The only thing I hate about 2k12 is playing people online it's like they would choose either miami, lakers and clippers.also trying to steal the ball from you in the backcourt, trying to take charge in the back court and keep reaching in and quitting the game while your beating them by alot. that's not how you play all you have to do is play some D
Yeah pretty much. There's way too many cheesers online. When I decided to pick the game back up, I wanted to get a couple of ranked quick matches in. First guy I played never let go of the turbo button. Any rebound he got, he'd run all the way down court. If I stopped him, he'd back up a little bit, then turbo around until he got inside the paint. Then he'd pump fake and throw up a layup after my help defender jumped. When I got the ball, he'd double team as soon as I crossed half-court and switch to another defender and press the steal button to try to stop my pass out. The second guy I played went straight into the Defensive Settings during the loading screen and switched to "Deny Ball" on everybody. He also switched to "Play Tight" for On-Ball defense. Then he ran the 1-3-1 zone and got the middle guy and just ran all over the court constantly pressing the steal button.
I been messaging the Insider about it and he finally got to it. Chandler is still underrated on D but he is much better than he was before in that department. For them to but him up to a 73 is real nice considering the other rookies. But I hate that they dropped Dragic's 3pter to a 74 but his isn't shooting that well this season from there. Some people help me out and message the 2k Insider on twitter and maybe Chandler Bang's D and ball-handling will be on par with his real game.
