It may be, and there are any number of ways he could have gotten a bloody nose. But a bloody nose is rarely life threatening no matter how he got it. Are you going to toss off the evidence mentioned already and dismiss the probable cause of the bloody nose being the dead victim's head, elbow, knee etc. bumping it in the scuffle? Sorry there are at least a dozen scenarios of how that nose became bloodied, none of which would cause you to have to toss all the other evidence to accept that Zimmerman deserved at least to be arrested.
Before conviction yes, before the arrest, no. You're ignoring the evidence already available. You know it, and most everyone here knows it.
I'm not getting into a debate with you but, can you tell us all how Zimmerman's feared for his life against a unarmed kid carrying skittles and tea? To answer your question, probably in the scuffle while trying to detain Martin? Or maybe Martin punched him while the two scuffled? OR maybe he never had a bloody nose and was lying like he could be lying about fearing for his life. You know there was no evidence he even HAD a bloody nose... You know once you kill someone and it's because you mistake them for something they're not....IT NOT UNCOMMON to make stories up.
Just one question: I know that there were quite a few people here who defended OJ Simpson (could look up the old threads, but pgabriel and Rocket River were among them, for sure), despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. I happen to believe that both here and in the OJ case, from the facts publicly known, the person in question is clearly guilty. So I think I could be regarded as relatively neutral. I also know that Zimmerman has not been charged yet (I think he will), whereas OJ had to defend himself in court. But people have come to their respective conclusions already anyway. Let me ask you: Why is bigtexxx called a racist for saying he wants to see more facts (which means that he thinks based on the facts known so far, there might be reasonable doubt), whereas pgabriel and Rocket River were not called racists for defending OJ Simpson, and saying there was reasonable doubt? Don't you see the parallel between bigtexxx' reaction and pgabriel's and Rocket River's reaction? Why is one accused of bias and called a bigot and called a potential murderer whereas the others were not subjected to that treatment? Food for thought.
In my opinion, even if he got a bloody nose and even if Martin threw the first punch (which I consider very unlikely), there is no way that that justifies killing Martin with a gun. One has a right to self-defense, but a) Zimmerman initiated the contact and b) self-defense must not be excessive. It should not be legal self-defense to shoot and kill someone if your life (or someone else's life) is not threatened and you had no reasonable reason to believe it was. I also think (just my personal opinion) that it is more likely that Zimmerman either made a story up or punched himself so he could claim self-defense (because he clearly initiated the contact and somewhat "stalked" the kid).
yes it is relevant but we're only going to get one side that zimmerman's he killed the only other person that would know the truth .
because liltexxx has a history of race baiting, saying inappropriate things regarding race, and has only chosen this as one of the few times needed to wait for evidence before coming to a decision. It's odd that this time when the victim is black that he has to wait for more evidence. Yet in the past he threatened to initiate violence himself with no more evidence than Arab men were gathered near a restroom in an airplane. His inconsistency, and track record have come into play. Here is liltexxx saying very bigoted things based on zero evidence about the people on the flight, and basing them solely on their nationality. Of course the men in the story liltexxx is talking about were completely innocent and did nothing wrong at all.

Why do you think RR and pgab were not accused of bias regarding OJ Simpson. I don't remember the OJ threads well enough anymore, but the general assumption in America is that black people who defend OJ do it because of their race, not because of their sober, objective analysis of the available facts. If I were to pull up an OJ thread, I'm sure I'd find plenty of derision for black posters defending OJ. Even in this thread, some posters have mentioned an expectation that those posters hold their positions because of their race. So, I don't see how they are getting treated much differently. I'd say the only real difference is that RR and pgab aren't trolls looking for opportunities to bait people. They talk about race when the subject comes up and express their sincere beliefs. They don't just decide to pick whatever position they think will most infuriate other posters just for the fun of it.
Some people might have said that their view is not objective because they are of the same race as OJ. But I don't think anyone called them bigots, racists, etc. etc., said they wanted to see them getting beaten up, mauled by dogs, or implied that they would do the same as OJ and murder people. In fact, I think that there would have been a huge uproar (and rightly) so, if anyone had made that last statement to them. Yet, all the leftists seem to be more than content with vlaurelio having said that to bigtexxx. Not one has spoken up to distance himself from what vlaurelio said. Quite a different treatment.
Let's make a deal. I'll give your guy the benefit of the doubt and say Trayvon busted his nose. Even though we actually have zero evidence of that and even though the guy being chased probably has a better self-defense argument than the one doing the chasing. But for the sake of argument, I'll give you the bloody nose you're so worried over. So now that that's settled, we can charge Zimmerman with murder and Martin with assault. Does that work for you? Oh, wait.
