Me too. But this means your position is diametrically opposed to bigtexxx's, he who has been carrying the banner for there never being enough evidence for him even to be taken into custody. So why do you defend him?
tradertexxx was doing what he always does, which is throw out a race-baiting line like "How do you know the black didn't get aggressive?" and sit back and watch a bunch of people freak out. he knows exactly what he is doing. if you cut out all the idiocy around that comment this thread would only be like 10 pages.

It's not really diametrically opposed. It would be diametrically opposed if he said "I am convinced that Zimmerman is not guilty." But that is not what he said. And I don't think he needs me defending him, but I noticed that some of the things people threw at him (to assume he would want to murder a black person in the same situation given the chance, wanting him mauled to death by dogs, etc., or even calling him racist) are not really warranted by anything he said. People are reading a lot of things into what he said which he didn't actually say. Okay, he said "the black", but corrected that when it was pointed out. He also said he thinks it's tragic the kid died. Yet, people are jumping down his throat like an online lynch mob. I guess it bothers me partly because several of them (like vlaurelio) seem to be the same people who do the same to me, when it comes to another topic.

As finalsbound pointed out, whether there is enough evidence to condemn (or convict) him is not the point. He shot an unarmed person, a minor, and he was not taken into custody. People keep saying he's already been convicted in the court of public opinion. That may well be true. But what is much more troubling is that he has not even been taken into custody. Self-defense is a valid argument in our legal system, obviously, but making the argument presupposes that there is a trial. For there to be a trial, he would need to be charged. The crime here, apart from the murder, is that police didn't take him into custody after pursuing a child (against the instruction of 911) and killing him. Before anyone here or elsewhere had a chance to convict him without evidence, the police let him go in spite of evidence.
well he is lying because there is already enough facts for some as intelligent as him to come up with a conclusion that zimmerman's most likely guilty
That's not what I said....get it right old man And the ONLY reason he said he thinks that the kid's death was tragic was because had to shame him to say it. He knew that he spent damn near 20pages of nonsense without showing any remorse for the death of that child. And you defend him...wow
atw, you gotta understand the anger and frustration of most people here we can all relate. what happened to trayvon can happen to us or our kids it's not blind anger or hate
