Each circumstance is different. Here the defense is one of self-defense. That's not likely to be the case in other cases (ie the dude in France today).
Where attorneys get involved, I feel no obligation to wait. It's obvious that the ultimate strategy is to prepare the battle space for a civil trial.

I don't recall saying that. I recall saying I did not know enough to properly evaluate Zimmerman's self-defense claim.
I have not really been presented with all the facts about what happened that night because Zimmerman has not been allowed (presumably under advice of counsel) to tell his side. On the other hand, I have seen what the Martin family lawyers have done, so I can make a judgment based on their behavior.
I had a few minutes and went through the first 8 pages of this thread. He's requested more facts... because he's under the assumption that Martin probably did something to incite the gunman. He also believes the story being provided isn't based on factual evidence because the media is biased. Everything Sjackson said in this post is true. How hard is that to comprehend ATW? What's sad is that it took him 8 pages and multiple days to express any remorse for the victim.

It's pretty clear that Bigtexx and Gwayneco both wanted everyone to hold their judgments until the trial was over because the media is bias and Also Zimmerman probably had just cause to shoot that kid. He didn't say that in any of the posts you quoted. He threw out hypotheticals. All that work, and you just proved that he did indeed not say that Zimmerman probably had just cause to shoot Trayvon. Nope, and your post proves that it is not. It is yours and Sjackson's conclusion that he is voicing his doubts because of that. But he didn't actually say that. I don't even agree with bigtexxx and gwayneco. I just find the hysterical lynch mob mentality of some of the posters here, going even so far as accusing them of wanting to murder black people, wanting to see them mauled by dogs, beaten up, etc. etc., very disturbing.

I'm done. I never defended Zimmerman. I defended a process. That's a distinction that is apparently too subtle for some here. I've said all I wanted to say. There is no need for me to comment further until there is some actual news on which to comment. Adios.
