Strange move for the Jets.

Everytime Sanchez has a bad game - which will be often - the calls for Tebow are going to be ridiculous. This has all the makings of a disaster.

 

I called it.

 

I think Tebow's going to see the field quite a bit regardless of who starts.

I agree - but Sanchez seems to have a major confidence problem as-is, from what we've been told. The Jets paid him ridiculous money when they didn't need to just to give him confidence and to establish him as the leader, it seems. If that's the case, how is he going to handle it when the boos rain down and the chants for Tebow grow? Or if Tebow comes in and does good things while he struggles? Or when the team rallies around Tebow in a way they don't around him?

You just paid your non-franchise-QB franchise-QB money to give him confidence, and then you bring the biggest circus in the NFL to back him up and screw with his head. I'm not sure what the end result will be, but it doesn't seem like it will end well for Sanchez.

 

On the good side, neither of their QBs can throw very well, so if they do replace Sanchez, they don't need to change the offense much.

i knew it. i think it is a great move for jets. they will probably look to trade sanchez.

 

call me crazy...i'd rather have tebow as my starter than sanchez.

 

No one will - or should - take Sanchez will the ridiculous contract he just signed. They are stuck with him.
