Sorry guys. Didn't look at the spoiler before. The mock seems funny to me. They have many good players going in our range, though. Lets hope it turns out this way. Also, i agree with an earlierpost. Meyers Leonard and Rivers would be better.
And please don't draft Henson! Anybody but that weakling! Meyers Leonard or Moultrie before him! And why has Sullinger fallen so much?
Terrence Ross out of Washington would be a solid wing player that would be available around the Mavs pick. Hes athletic and can shoot the ball pretty well. I also think drafting "position of need" is irrelevant later in the draft....go for best available
No, it's not. Earlier in the year, Perry Jones was easily top 5-7, but as the season progress his stock took a serious hit, rightfully so. He might be a colossal bust, if he is drafted higher than 12. On the same token, I would draft him, if he falls below that. There are some question marks about his motor and passion. http://nbadraft.net/2012mock_draft http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2012/ http://www.mynbadraft.com/2012-NBA-Mock-Draft http://www.thesportsbank.net/nba-draft-stock-report/2012-nba-mock-draft-first-round-31912/
They are more than question marks in my opinion. They are more like flashing neon marque lights. The only way I draft PJIII is if it is because of a draft day trade with another team.
It would be funny 2 draft a tarheel and a blue devil lol does any team have a tarheel and a blue devil on da same team lol can't think if any team does off da top of my head lol
Sounds like the same question marks they had about D-Mo last year... Could we see a another massive drop with PJ III, like we saw with D-Mo last year? Maybe could be available come the Rockets mid first rounder(NY) or late 1st rounder(DAL).
I'd be happy with this because we get Austin Rivers, a guard with star potential. I like Henson, but we are to deep at the four. I would prefer we look at someone else unless we move Patterson or Scola.
I'd be really surprised to see Austin Rivers come out this year. Another year of college ball would be good for him. He hasn't really played "his game" this year at all and he could use some maturing physically. Plus, he would be a 10-25 pick in 2012. In 2013, he would basically be a lock for the lottery. Also, I wonder how he feels about losing in the first round of March Madness..
He's 6'10" in shoes and I see him as a center. Regardless, he is a Moreyball type of player. Hard-nosed, intelligent player who is ultra-efficient and very versatile on offense, and has a wicked work ethic. And he is short for a center
I don't think there is any way Austin Rivers falls that far though... Henson either for that matter...
