I picked the full MLE in the poll, but I'd easily go higher if need be.

Is there a poll for Dragic? What might his offer look like if we do resign him?

I'd guess that Dragic would get Ramon Sessions-type money. Sessions got 4 yrs/16 mil after his awesome second half with MIL in 2009.

As for Lee, I'm going with Afflalo/Matthews type cash.

Let me also add that with the way teams OVERPAY, you might see Dragic get 4-5/25.

You are smoking crack. This guy is young and can play defense. Martin is on his way out already. You keeep him and give him what he wants and you trade Kevin Martin still. You keep Dragic and give him what he wants you build around that core of Lowry, Dragic, Lee. From the back court up until we find a suitable low post scorer/rebounder.

This. Still gotta find a way to get a superstar caliber player, whether through trade or draft.

It will be interesting if Morey and front office officials will go out of their way to say "we are bringing Courtney back next year" before they get offers like they did last time with Lowry & Scola.

This def. worked out in the Rockets favor with Lowry because I believe it really turned off other teams from throwing out an offer just to have it matched. Scola on the other hand had ridiculous offers coming from overseas and actually took less to play with the Rockets if the reports were correct then.

Either way, its going to be interesting to see how Morey positions Lee & Dragic publicly after the season ends.

I would like to keep Dragic and Lee. Yes, I would like to package Lowry and Martin for something of value. Not too many teams would want Martin, but Lowry would get a lot of interest from teams in need of a PG. If they want Lowry they have to take Martin, I think it could work.

Pay him what he wants. He should be the long term starter with Houston. He's demonstrated why in his starts this year. He can shoot, pass, penetrate, and most importantly play high level defense throughout a game. I'm really tired of Houston just letting players walk if they can't get them at a bargain price. Dragic needs to stay, too. We need to get the right group and keep them together for awhile so they can build chemistry.

I hope we can keep Lee with the MLE, but I'm thinking he'll get 6-8 million.

Hopefully Lee will resign in houston and become the longterm starter at SG. Kevin Martin just hasn't been the same because he needs Adelman's system. Lee definately deserves full MLE money.

I say he's definitely worth that 6-8 million if he can keep avgs of about 15-16ppg, 4rebs, 3asts, and 2stls while starting/getting starters minutes. But if we're gonna pay him that much, he should be the starter at SG.

Shooting Guards who will be Free Agents in 2012:
Eric Gordon (R), Ray Allen, Marco Belinelli, Marquis Daniels, Matt Barnes, Rudy Fernandez (R), Jason Terry, Michael Redd, Grant Hill, Roger Mason, George Hill, OJ Mayo (R), Shannon Brown, JR Smith, Leandro Barbosa, Landry Fields (R), Nick Young, Willie Green, Daniel Green (R)

Probable teams with ~8 million+ in cap space:
Boston, Charlotte, Cleveland, Denver, Indiana, Nets, Hornets, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, Toronto

Also remember that Courtney Lee will be a RFA, meaning Rockets can match anything.

Someone could pay him, but I feel there will be such a glut of quality SG's that he won't be as expensive as you guys think he will.

I think this is fair price for him. Seriously, it might be "sell low" season on Kmart but I'd do it just to clear capspace to sign Lee and Dragic.

Good point. So Morey has no excuse if he loses him then.
