I couldn't have said it better myself. Both parties have become extremely polarized. For a long time I have accused liberals of being polarized but with this election cycle, I see it just as equally on the republican side. When I see the conservatives willing to elect Santorum, easily one of the worst candidates in the primary, I can only shake my head. When liberals called the HCR a step in the right direction, I can only shake my head. If it were Republicans initiating that bill, every Democrat would hate it for what it really is. I scoff when I hear people quote "I am fiscally conservative and socially liberal". The only candidate who has come close to this is Ron Paul, but both sides find him completely irreverent.
That's funny because look who the Reps have nominated in the last elections - Romney and McCain (I'm assuming Romney in 2012). Those are two very establishment Republicans. Reagan initially ran as an outsider (i.e. vs Nixon in 68, Ford in 76).
I register to vote in the Republican primaries, which is what I mean. Of course I could freely change any election.
All of this makes sense, in terms of why you keep spending time on the BBS. Oh, and Clutch will be interested to learn he is now a liberal! Keep shrinking that tent.
Fine Mr. Picky. I check the box Republican on the form when they give it to me at my polling location. Same difference to me.
Given that the NBA is made up of players that -- if they vote -- would vote overwhelmingly in favor of liberal candidates, why be a fan of basketball at all? And for that matter why be a fan of music? All those musicians you so love would vomit in your face if they knew what was in your heart.
What happened? Tea Party, Palin, Newt, Mitt....... Fail Should've taken a page from the Dem playbook and run an unknown without any track record. Oh wait...Ryan.. FWIW, Obama seems to be running the country much like a centered Dem/Repub and not the socialist commie he's made out to be. The Big Brother policies he's put in would not have been surprising coming from the Repubs who created HSA. Globalization has accelerated under his tenure, IMO but I don't think it was his doing. It's been in the game plan for a long time. Dems/Repubs....aren't they really puppets anyway?

You are sounding very depressed little camper. You need to turn off the Fox and crank up the tunes. Modify your reality with some postivity.
May I suggest: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/G5IQ6TYxELc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
welcome to my world. but seriously, BJ, what does either two have to do with politics? no, no. I'll answer. Nother, good sir. Absolutely nothing, but maybe fodder for internet battles.
Ask gwayneco. I was only responding to his post in which he said the liberals on this board were ruining the Rockets for him.
