I was impressed by the finale. Pretty solid storyline. My love for Daryl just keeps rising and rising.

daryl just bought him a one way ticket to cougartown. carol was practically giving herself to him at the end of the episode.

i like that him and glen are now tight bros...they actually make a pretty good team. daryl's "asians-cant-drive" jab and glen's reaction were pretty funny.

Ive enjoyed the show for the most part and been willing to look past the minor plot holes and character flaws...but this episode flat out reeked of stupidity.

I don't care how safe the farm was...you live in a zombie infested world you need to have contingency plans for if the farm gets overun. You need to be prepared for every scenario. And if you have to leave the farm, then you should have multiple rendezvous points. I also agree with the fact that you don't get into a firefight with a hoard of zombies when there is no chance of winning. Gotta be smarter than that.

Unbelievable how the group turned on Rick ...why should being infected change anything? You still have to die in order to turn. He killed Shane in self defenese...it was him or Shane. Hell Hershel and Maggie didnt even want him on the farm a few episodes ago. He's busted his ass trying to keep them all alive and this is how they show their gratitude?

And Lori...if she really was more disgusted with herself then that was some piss poor acting because it sure looked like she was pissed at Rick.

Don't see why they couldn't have tried to fit in one car and search for gas rather than set up camp. Why didn't they have a full gas can in each car for just a scenario?

Not the ending I was hoping for.

are you talking about the helicopter sound in Atlanta? they covered days and nights worth of distance between downtown and the farm. they were eating Rick's horse from season 1.

my question is was this pretty much the same herd on the highway in episode 1 of season 2? they seemed to grow in numbers by the time they got to the farm...

Agree with EVERYTHING you said. Another thing is they always pick up these hulking gas guzzling trucks/SUVs. They can't fit in a more fuel efficient sedan? Daryl never runs out of gas, but has to be a zombie magnet.

I also know if they played they zombie apocalypse right every time there would be even less ZOMBIE conflict in the show than there is now. A couple sentences/scenes in the sea of throw-away dialog/middle distance staring to explain away some of the blatant disregard for common sense would be fine for me. The fact they they didn't have a rendezvous point in case they all get separated is the one thing that I can't let go of; it's way too simple to put in place. We almost had a Lori/T-Dog spinoff!

Because if they didn't run out of gas at this random spot and decide to set up camp, they wouldn't eventually find the conveniently placed prison. Duh!

I was thinking the exact samething! That shotgun can probably hold anywhere from 6-8 rounds max!

I've given up. The show has worn me down. At this point the characters could start turning into werewolves, and I wouldn't even blink. Hell, Rick could be a werewolf cyborg with wolverine claws. Sure, why not.

He did reload after 10. When he was reloading, a walker came up behind him that Rick shot and when Herschel turned around, the back of his head was covered in zombie blood and brains.

There won't be complaints as long as there's quality action and dynamic plots/twists (like last 3 episodes)

So are we assuming that while Herschel was shooting his shotgun, even though the camera didn't stay on him the entire time, that because they didn't SHOW him reloading, he never did? Who's to say that during one of the cutaway scenes he wasn't reloading. Even more to the point of creating a TV show, who's the say they didn't film him reloading more but it was cut in the final edit because it's more important to push the action of the scene than it is to make sure people see him reloading his GD gun? They showed Andrea upset about her ammo situation in the woods because it was specifically relevant to her circumstances regarding multiple walkers stalking her as she was running out of energy and ammo.

Also, people do stupid crap all the time. How can people live in this world and not understand that normal people do asinine things constantly, let alone when faced with a horde of flesh eating monsters? Usually a few special people rise to the occasion in moments of horror, but masses panic and act foolishly. I love the people who comment on this show who think they'd be a meticulously prepared, Navy Seal-like soldier of fortune when faced with 500 corpses hunting them down. You people must be some badass mother-F'ers. I see people every day walking off elevators on the wrong floor, leaving their office keys at home, locking themselves out of their cars, all everyday stupid crap that people do in perfectly calm situations. Now throw

There are some legit gripes. I'm with people who are annoyed at Lori's reaction to Rick's revelation particularly. It makes no sense whatsoever that she would be disgusted with him. In that moment, if I were Rick, I'd be like... b**** are you serious? I sincerely hope this leads to a permanent rift between them, and ultimately her death. Enough of her already. The minutiae I mentioned in the first two paragraphs, I don't care about that crap. But this? God, kill me already with the Lori wishy-washy nonsense.

And this Rick is the way Rick is meant to be. Glad they're taking this turn with him at the end of the season.

I have no problems with Hershel turning on God Mode or whatever giving him infinite shotgun ammo. It's the only way I got through "Doom". ;)

I was Laughing my ass off with my Girlfriend telling her that Hershel doesn't seem to need to reload. I said, "Let me guess, he'll need to reload in a inopportune time". Sure as ****. This show sucks so much at times it makes me sick. Too bad I can't seem to give up completely on it.

The reloading thing doesn't bother me at all. Does everyone in here just not watch tv or movies at all? Reloading is very rarely shown on screen unless it furthers the plot. "How much ammo do you have? Down to my last clip. Me too. Uh oh..."

Otherwise it is a waste of screen time to go through the actual reloading process.

This reminds me of people who were always complaining about baseball video games because the catcher didn't throw the ball back after every pitch.
