You know what I dislike the most is it appears from his comment that he has no intention of becoming a superstar.

Sure we need one Patrick. Why don't you be it?!?!

He should have left it up, honestly. He was going to get fined regardless, so just leave it up and give more people the chance to read the truth.

$ 25k seems like a disproportionately high amount for someone on a rookie contract.

You know the refs don't play when it comes to calling out officials. Nothing new shocked that people are surprised about this.

I'm sure there would be consequences if you tweeted bad stuff about your boss, and he found out about it. Freedom of speech has no bearing in the private sector.

Hahaha! What a head case Morey drafted. Shows you the value of a degree from Kentucky University!

Anyone think the NBA has employees dedicated to monitoring players Twitter accounts? Or are there just a ton of snitches? lol .

Take a civics class or something. Freedom of speech means the GOVERNMENT can't penalize you for what you say. You don't have a Constitutional Right to criticize your employer.

I know not this Kentucky University of which you speak... Did you mean Eastern Kentucky University, western Kentucky university or Northern Kentucky University or Kentucky state university.... Because Patrick went to the University of Kentucky

All kidding aside... Patrick is not a complainer... So even though he is fined maybe some one will take notice... Superstar calls are the lamest thing in the NbA and that's saying a lot

You know, I'm with you. I tried to explain the situation to my wife (who doesn't follow sports at all) and even she was like "that's totally stupid; he should be disciplined." But Rockets blood runs deep, and no amount of 'foolishness' could keep me from my ROX!

It wouldn't be too difficult for one person/employee to monitor all of the accounts of players, if that's all they did. Makes sense to do it, if you want to "protect" the NBA.
