When minor leaguers start upstaging the major leaguers, the Astros send them away. Clemens will be with the big club by seasons end, and Singleton has a good shot as well.
I'm in Jupiter, FL for the week. Gonna try to go to the game against the Marlins on Monday. Probably won't be able to stay for the whole thing, but would be nice to catch at least a few innings.
Would love to be able to go one year, but tax season makes it difficult to make a 6-8 hour trip. Was in Orlando last year the week in between the end of extended spring training and the start of the Gulf Coast League. Drove right past the stadium.
http://www.sporcle.com/games/amyevg/2012-houston-astros-spring-training How many of the original 63 guys in Astros camp can you name? I got 62. The only guy is missed was Spoiler #52]
Rhiner Cruz with a horrid spring. Will he be offered back?

Rule 5 pick Rhiner Cruz in three outings: 1 1/3 IP, 5 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 4 BB, 1 K. Chris Johnson and Brett Wallace are really trying to make the team. Hard to imagine them both making it since Carlos Lee is still with us.
If defense at 3B is equal, I'd rather keep Wallace. Although I don't see how Wallace's defense could be worse than CJ's...
Heard Wallace club that 3-run homer. As for defense, hopefully Poloshirtbandit can give us a report on that.
Wallace played 1B today, CJ played 3rd. I'm not really an X's and O's guy so couldn't really give much detail beyond that. They didn't look bad to me though.
