Might be desperate after they couldn't even land Matt Flynn.

Skip Bayless is a rambling idiot. Peyton wouldn't need assurance from Elway that they would trade Tebow. Common sense would say that if Peyton signed there then Tebow would be traded. No way could they keep both without causing a huge distraction.

    is garbage.

I'm glad Peyton didn't want to go to one of the worst sports cities in America.

Not only that, it wouldn't make any football sense either.

Can you imagine Tebow coming in and trying to run Peyton's offense if he goes down?

    Yikes.

WOW! casserly says 5th rounder at best, and mortensen says they will cut him if they can't trade him??

the tim tebow story, though unfinished, is going to end up one of the craziest stories in sports history.

also, since john elway clearly hates tebow, what a miracle this was for him. took something like this happening to be able to justifiably kick tebow to the curb without the fans revolting.

Somebody will gamble on him for a 5th. Heck, if we are talking a 6th round pick, I'd even gamble on him if I were the Texans.

I'm fine with Jacksonville crippling itself - but we may end up playing Denver as many times as the Jags this year (we've already got 'em once) - this is an 8-8 team with some upside... I'd hate for them to get a giant piece with Jacksonville's pick. I'd rather that pick go to Jacksonville and be consumed by the vortex of suck that is Tim Tebow.

When Marino was there, the Dolphins were popular.

When John McClain reported (Saturday night) that his sources were telling him Manning to the 49ers, I knew it wasn't happening. :( Sorry.

I think Casserly underestimates the stupidity at play in a bidding war involving the Jaguars and Dolphins.

It may start at a 5th rounder, but it ain't gonna end there.

Yeah. That city is full of more bandwagon hoppers than any other city I know of. They have more opposing fans (partly due to the fact that a lot of retirees live there) at their games than they do Phins fans. Heat and Marlins don't have many real fans either. Sports knowledge lacks in that city.

It's always about the money. That is why some team will get up Tebow he is the biggest cashcow in the NFL.

The Jaguars need him more. Miami isn't in danger of being relocated to LA.

I've only been their once. I never thought about attending any sporting events.
Though, I believe the college fans of the Hurricanes are pretty loyal.

I thought JAX signed a new deal this year with the city to stay?

    Perfect storm for Elway.

This isn't just about adding Peyton, this is about the only way he could jettison His Holiness without severe public backlash.

It was... a baptism by fire. Having a kid is challenging. Having a kid with colic is crazy challenging.

He's finally starting to sleep through the nights though, and it just so happens that today is day 1 of me being the stay at home parent.

Watching Dora the Explorer right now while I refresh twitter and post on clutchfans.
