You make a good point and even show Chris Paul as one of the league leaders even though he is not one of the best scorers in this league. It was almost as if he expected to get the calls. The refs even expected to give the calls to him in those flops.
\ Yesterday during the final 3 minutes of that clipper game when c. lee was playing cp3 tight and they called lee for a foul when there wasn't any...and then i seen cp3 high five his team mate for drawing a phantom foul I already knew what was happening. You should have seen the look of disgust on c. lee face after they called a time out after that, i mean it really drains and discourages these players to be in it playing hard only to be taken out the game by a third party...
I think I will have to put it off even more now. Haven't gotten time in between the games and homework and all
I'll just say this. FT Attempts per game Lowry - 4.5 Paul - 4.7 Are we seriously arguing that Paul gets to the line some ungodly number of times? Less than 5 times per game, why has no one even mentioned this? He's not Wade, 6.2 this year and 9 per game for his career. Hell Parker is going 5.5 times per game. So Paul goes to the line one more time than Lowry every 5 games, Paul is a hell of a lot quicker and a much better shooter.
and no, inferior players simply do not drive to the lane in close games as often as "superstar" players.
Check the op and who has more fta in the most important part of the game. Yes we are arguing that paul gets to the line some ungodly number of times IN THE LAST 5 MINUTES OF THE FOURTH QUARTER IN A CLOSE GAME. Point is, lowry drives just as much as those two and draws significantly more contact. Yet, he doesn't get the call but superstars such as paul do, even if they have less contact. I've read some of your posts and you would be a refs best friend.
You're arguing my point there. Paul is worlds better than Lowry, he's quicker and a better shooter, who needs to foul Lowry in the last minutes of a close game? Or any Rocket? They're not good or fast enough to warrant having to foul because you couldn't guard them.
Better players = fouled more because it's harder to guard them. Lowry isn't fast, who would lose coverage on him? No one, Paul is quick and a better player, when your coverage is blown, the option is let him have an easy shot, or foul him. What part of this is escaping everyone on here?
Lol. Just put me on your list in your sig bro. "Who needs to foul lowry" "They're not good or fast enough" They get fouled, it just doesn't get called. We disagree. Oh well
People were blaming a 13 point loss that we never got below 10 in the second half on the refs. If that's not the pussiest crybaby complaining I've seen in a while I don't know what is. No one is "out to get the Rockets" the team isn't very good, playing against a hot team at home. Oh and the foul calling was 20/18, laughably the easiest case of fair calling you'll find from an officiating crew.
And the Rockets shot 3 more FTs than the Suns did. Those awful NBA refs! Why are they out to get us!?
They were not a hot team. Just give the Rockets the same calls on Pattersons arm and tackling Scola for the steal is all anyone is saying looks bad. If it looks bad? It just does. There does not need to be a conspiracy for the refs to be horrible at their jobs.
Are the refs bad enough at their jobs for so many people including players now to question how bad they are at their jobs? The answer is yes. Goodnight.
I've liked just about all of your posts, but come on man. Suns are not a hot team? They've gone 11-3 with wins @ the Clips (see it can be done) without Nash or Hill playing. Beat the Lakers/Clips(2)/Mavs/Grizzlies during that stretch, I don't think the Heat or Bulls have been that impressive over the last 3 weeks.
Just have to respectfully disagree on what you're saying. Superstars go to the line more often and in tighter scenarios not just because of the name on their jersey.
Oh ok the Suns. I got mixed up between the Clippers and Suns. Suns are hot. Clippers game is the one I was talking about. My bad.
