Ask RTM what part of Houston he's from.

speaking of TOFs (in the state of Texas at least), which one of you dudes were waiting in line with a McGrady Rockets jersey for the Skrillex concert?

No, TMac is one trick pony. He can't play off ball. He can't post up. He's much worse than Grant Hill right now, and Hill is 7 years older and he doesn't have more athleticism.

If you can't accept the truth, you may as well commit suicide and worship TMac in the other world.

Yeah, I admit I was wrong. I thought he would still have enough in the tank to contribute. He can't any more.

However, it's still ridiculous to devalue what he was because of what he is with the Hawks.

That's like talking about Shaq based on how he played with the Cavs and Celtics

what the Pistons? Knicks? and last 1 and half season with the Rockets?

Shaq was ring chasing, but he was not like Tmac at all. He had nothing left to prove. He's by far more accomplished player (beyond understatement) and cemented himself in the hall of fame.

Tmac seems like he's trying to prove something. I give him credit for that, but his ego is still the same as it was before.

    tinmac u suck again

If his ego is the same that it was when he was superstar, he would be sitting next to Iverson in a bar and saying that he can play for anyone

Tracy McGrady can't post up because all of his offense right now is coming from low post

    Sexy

Does it mean he is a good post up player? He is scoring 5 a game so to score them all on post ups doesnt mean you're a good post up player.

He passes the ball or misses shots much more often than he makes them. He's pretty bad (unefficient) because he has no explosion or quickness.

I dunno. I always thought he had good post moves. Especially in his prime.

Of course he did in his prime because he was able to run circles around people, jump over people and shoot over their arms. He don't have it anymore.

All he can do at this point is to take a jumper or back a guy down.

oh my bad, if it was old tmac ego, he would have demanded a trade,
but it's new tmac , so he just goes off on his coach for playing time to the media now

    what a humble guy

Uh, he had 1 "post move" and it wasn't anything but a back down and simple spin to the middle. Sexy? I guess...

    Severe Rockets Fan,
you realize that these Jungalows think Tmac is the most perfect basketball player that has ever stepped on the NBA Court.

Pointing out faults to them is like telling them the world is round.

When Tmac was with the Rockets, I don't remember him being some dominant post up player. I believe that was Yao's job.

6 points, 2 assists. I am so impressed. Many 3rd string players can get that kind of number with a quarter of garbage time.

Why can't we allow this thread to die? He's through. Some people need to come to terms with that.

He didn't. How many times you saw TMac posted up in Rox? Yes there was Yao. But Kobe posted up a lot with Bynum and Gasol's presence. TMac didn't post up much simply because that's not his strength.

There's a big difference between he can do it and he's good at it.

    http://www.hoopdata.com/player.aspx?name=Tracy McGrady
The stats said he shot 25% from 10-15ft, attempt 0.4 time per game and make 0.1 for 0.2 points. 3-9ft is better and he got 0.4 points there. So totally he got 0.6 points out of typical post area and 5.2 points elsewhere.

So much about good post up skills.

His 3-9 feet percentages is better than Kobe so I have no idea what you're talking about bro.

And again, please stop comparing this T-Mac to prime T-Mac. That just makes you look dumb
