i'm glad chuck is around to b**** about that call. the networks that host the tourney always treat the refs with kid's gloves. at the very least, wait to see if the free throw is missed. if they miss and someone gets an advantage, then alright maybe you can make the call. but on a make where it didn't matter? ridiculous.

After that, that region is dead. No Memphis, no Long Beach State, no Missouri who I had coming out.

Interesting that Duke got knocked out early, again. Even though they won the title 2 years ago, Coach K is slipping and his teams are getting embarrased.

 

They are basically a shoot first and shoot later team. If they are off, then they lose.

 

Reggie miller with some breathtaking analysis right now. Still remember him saying "make these two free throws and it becomes a 5 point game" and after the player misses one he says "make this free throw and it's a 6 point game"

 

i think theres too much "analysis" period. yesterday and today gottlieb was talking up how k-state can't turn the ball over versus syracuse. i'm thinking isn't that the case for every team at every level of basketball? what a deep thought provoking analysis that is. i bet gottlieb spent hours watching tape to find that "weakness"

 

Damn, had Mizzou going to the Final 4. Oh well, amped a HBCU got the upset.

 

At this point I'm ecstatic just to have 7/8 elite 8 teams left.

So true. They have let me down year after year. Although they are making it a bit of a game now

 

NC State falling apart. Need them to pull through have them beating G'Town.

 

And just as I say that one of their players takes a terrible terrible which cost them the game.
