BigTexxx has already been pwned. Pwned beyond any previous pwnage threshold that he had previously been set for himself. ...yet he hasn't gone away.

Notice, he hasn't responded back to me ...yet he shamelessly doesn't go away. The mark of any self respecting GOPer. NEVER CONCEDE!

Afterall, Micheal Barry is still on the air. NEVER CONCEDE!

You guys should put that on a flag.

bigtexxx had a point - that one should not rush to judgment based on bias. I agree with that point. bigtexxx also said we should wait for more facts and evidence. I agree with this point as well.

    Now we have more evidence.

The most convincing evidence is in the 911 call by the killer (where he sounds overzealous, making a lot of assumptions, and like someone who is "out to get someone" and "not let him get away") and the next call where you can actually hear the screams for help and the gunshots. The voices of Zimmerman and the guy who screams for help sound very different. Also, why would anyone scream for help if he has a gun and the other guy only has Skittles?

From that call, it clearly seems that Martin is screaming for help and then Zimmerman shoots him.

I'll reserve my opinion until I get all the facts on this case. Why are you lefties jumping all over bigtexxx? He is saying that we need to know more about this case before passing judgment, why do you have a problem with Biggie?

Could it be that once again we have your favorite protected minority is this drama? If this kid was Asian, Hispanic or others, would you still attack Biggie with all your lefty might?

Maybe people are upset that a child was murdered in cold blood while screaming for his life and STILL no arrest has been made. No no, this is a democrat vs republican thing, idiot. You and "Biggie" should just bang already and get it over with. Hey esteban, do you still think "lefties" are demons/demonic?

or you could reserve your opinion by formulating those of your own instead of mimicking those of texxx. i took him off my ignore list after a day because he's an entertainer at best while you're essentially a... double post?

    thanks in advance, spliff star.

    http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/03/17/2700249/shooter-of-trayvon-martin-a-habitual.html

quite a lengthy article full of facts, including Zimmerman's repeated calls to 911, almost 50 in just over a year.

statistics on racial demographics and crime are also included. the Sanford Police Dept, as listed earlier in this thread, has been accused of racial bias in the past

it looks like Zimmerman was indeed a wanna be cop and vigilante, having even thwarted a crime or two. he walked around door to door as the self appointed captain and emailed his neighbors warning them of black people

it appears tension was high in the gated community and Zimmerman had gone off the edge trying to stop every crime before it happened.

here's info on his arrest and plea bargain that allowed him to carry a weapon that would kill Martin.

Zimmerman's father says George has black friends and that he did not pursue Martin.

them's the facts... it's a three page article. make sure to read the whole thing and think critically.

Sounds like he had a viligante complex and because of recent crimes in his neighborhood he came to associate young men of African descent with crime. So when Zimmerman saw the young Mr. Martin walking home at night......the only reason he could come up with for him being out so late in his community was that he was up to no good....afterall that what those kind of people do (in Zimmerman's mind at least).

Zimmerman called 911 and disobeyed a direct order to stand down and confronted Mr. Martin. An argument ensued....possibly a fight which ended when Zimmerman decided to shoot the young man in cold blood.....despite him pleading for his life.

Sounds like exactly what I thought it was....I wish I could say I was surprised.

I'll be interested to know this guy's relationship with the police. It sounds like he may be very well known to them. I'd also like to know if he applied to the police department and was denied at some point, the reason could be very telling.

Zimmerman had applied to the police but didn't make it onto to the force.

And he's a criminal justice major? I'm guessing he studied Florida's self-defense laws very carefully. This guy sounds like all kinds of trouble.

What is the hurry? What good would it do to arrest George Zimmerman and have him go free after a trial, or maybe not be tried if a judge tosses the case for lack of cause?

Prosecutors need more than a tragedy to bring a case into court. They need evidence, witnesses, and probable cause.

Now we come to George Zimmerman and his ilk. People who want to play cops. Vigilantes, with over developed ideations, causing them to see criminals around every corner, behind every tree, and under their beds.

They join ridiculous and useless “crime watch groups”, roaming their neighborhoods, looking for felonious behavior and hot action. Just like the people who run around with those cute little red berets. Though the Guardian Angels, unlike Mr. Zimmerman, are not armed and do have training requirements.

But the vigilante BUFF, they see fiends, rapists, pillagers, and looters in every group of people not like them. If the cops can’t do their jobs, then dagnabit, they will.

When they take action, as they inevitably do, they cause nothing but headaches for law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges.

Lastly, we have the growing phenomenon of social media which gives people, with their own ideated sense of vigilante justice, the methods, means, and sense of power to live out their overblown fantasies of getting back at the man, the system, the establishment; those who have been grinding others down for so long.

These are the new lynch mobs, tech rioters, and petitioning protesters. They cry out for justice in a world where they perceive none. They demand action where they perceive inaction.

Trayvon Martin is dead. George Zimmerman killed him. That is all we know. Under Florida law Zimmerman may be guilty, innocent, or something in between.

The truth, whatever it is, will eventually come out. No one will be satisfied.

The vigilantes, and their social media lynch mob equivalents, believe the same code. “There is no justice. Just us.”

It is always just about them.
