If you look at that list, sort by games played and look at just players who played in at least 40 games in a year, you'll see there's just 25 player seasons in NBA history where this happened. Here's the breakdown:

    6...Steve Nash
    3...Larry Bird
    3...Jeff Hornacek
    2...Jose Calderon
    2...Dana Barros
    2...Dirk Nowitzki
    1...Mario Elie
    1...Danny Ferry
    1...Jason Kapono
    1...Steve Kerr
    1...Kyle Macy
    1...Reggie Miller
    1...Mark Price

This. Even if he ends up with no ring, I consider Nash to be one of the best pgs of all time, his court vision, bball IQ, handling and shooting ability are all HOF caliber. Too bad he ended up on a team owned by one of the worst owners ever.

BTW he should totally sign with the heat once his contract is up.

I'm dissapointed that Steve Nash is satisfied with being on a medicore team at the twilight of his career. Players like him should do whatever they can to chase a champion ring before they are through.

Maury should've gone after Nash a few days ago. He would've made a terrific 3rd string here.

He's not satisfied with mediocrity, he just doesn't want to take the easy way out as he himself puts it.

I mean at the end of the day ring chasers like Juwan Howard, even when they actually win a ring, means absolutely nothing. Guys like Lebron, his ring will be tainted.

Nash either wants to win it competitively and pridefully or not win it at all. You have to respect that.
