I'm not saying I'm a prophet but I swear I knew this game was a loss when they announced the refs at the start.

You're clueless, even Mr LA homer himself, Adande, says we were robbed.

yes it was. that was a mismatch and Griffin couldn't guard Patterson in the post. He made 2 straight shots and should have gotten free throws on the third but didn't get the call.

Did anyone see that playback from the game where Blake Griffin actually placed his hands directly on Scola's face while he was guarding him just inside the three point line? He touched Scola's face directly and deliberately several times as if to mock him. What an ******* that punk crybaby Griffin is

I knew this would happen as the game winded down and the score was close. Chris Paul works the entire game to make sure that he ends up with the calls. I used to like him as a rookie but I can't stand what a f&$king a$$ he is. He defines everything that is wrong in game with the NBA, superstars, and officiating. It's out of control.

I used to love the NBA but if it wasn't for the rockets it'd be hockey to me. I wouldn't watch a single game. Refs are bigger than the game and incompetent on top of it. Throw in Stern offseason bending us over and it's becoming work to get as excited as I used to be. What a shame.

Oh I see. So now you are going to ignore the fact that the play WAS MADE and focus on him not boxing out. What a joke this is...

He did get the block, but it never would've came to that if he boxed out his man.

Even being as undermanned as we were, some of this game is on the COACH Kevin McHale

    1) Taking out Dragic and subbing in Courtney Fortson fresh from the D-League against CHRIS PAUL was a BAD move. Should put Fortson in ONLY against THEIR BACKUP.

Dragic did come back in against their backup to make up for some of that. But I thought that should have been pure matchup-subs - Keep Goran in the game EVERY MINUTE Paul is in the game.

    2) Patterson posting up at the end was NOT the best option. Went to that well once too often, its unfamiliar territory for Patterson. He was so FAR AWAY from the basket. Thats some Kevin McHale approach wanting to establish a brand of "muscle" in his players.

I DO LIKE THAT in the LONG run for establishing that IDENTITY. But for winning the GAME, Lee and Dragic were the best options.

    ALREADY ANSWERED, CAN'T YOU READ?

"Could also use a ref that doesn't toss the ball towards aforemention PG and allows the PG to body tackle the aforementioned PF while jumping."

BTW, Scola has won several jumpballs this year, even against opposing starting center.

It's was just amazing how the refs completely changed the flow and how they made calls down the stretch. Made me realize why nba is getting harder and harder to watch.

I was thinking the same, I don't watch the NBA very much anymore, but I did catch the game yesterday and I was thinking that the game was pretty well oficiated, not many BS calls etc(both ways). Until the last 2-3 mins of the game and than it was the same old, same old.
