Why did Hasheem Thabeet and Jonny Flynn not make it to Portland before today?

    We did not have Marcus camby today because of these clowns. Why could they not be professional and fly to Portland before today???

    Good question. You would think that they would be there on time, that they would get to their new location within two days. Pure speculation, but Carl Herrera may be on to something in that they didn't really care if it helped the Rockets or not.

    i thought it was more team physical related vs. reporting to the team, but this thread gave me a chuckle.
    will they pass their physical in time for Camby to play tomorrow?

    The Blazers FO might've told them that there's no hurry to get to Portland. If their roster stays healthy Flynn and Thabeet wouldn't figure in their playing rotation anyway. The Blazers are only a couple of losses behind the Rockets/playoff berth too.

    Felton, E.Williams (injured/POR 1st pick), N.Smith (POR 1st pick), Flynn
    Matthews, Crawford
    Batum, Babbitt (POR 1st pick), S.Williams
    Aldridge, C.Smith,

    Blazers are on a road trip, and will return to Portland on Sunday. Thabeet and Flynn are expected to join them there.

    Why do they want to tank for a middling first round pick?

    They already have a multitude of first rounders overseas.

    Their franchise and front office is still located in Portland. There's nothing stopping them to check in and have their physicals done by the league appointed doctor.

    They were trying to break up the core, they fired the coach.They traded Camby for Thebust and Flynn

    They were playing better with Przybilla. This is pretty much the same core for them before last season's trade deadline.
