    Couldn't help but think the same thing.

    I'm not totally up to snuff on my Alien universe timeline, but I assume they were forced to stick with that date so as not to screw up continuity.

    A new short teaser for the second long trailer that will be coming out this Saturday. I'm so excited for this. Hopefully we will soon get a good sci fi movie.

    amc is sponsoring a q&a with ridley scott tomorrow and the "premiere" of the trailer at downtown disney tomorrow i had passes but wont be attending sadly since the Rockets are in town and the start of the q&a is at 4 and I cant make it in time. Sucks this movie looks amazing

    That's too bad. I'm looking forward to it tomorrow over streaming of course. Not sure if this is the real official trailer. Thought the real one is around 2:30min long and will be showing tomorrow or Sunday. Not sure if someone hacked the site link. Awesome trailer but not really happy with the music. By the look of this trailer it CAN'T be PG 13. Hopefully FOX came to their senses and making it R-Rated by the look of that this trailer.

    WOW!

    From the look of the trailer it almost seems like the alien "gods" unleash the "alien" organism as a means of destroying civilizations that use the technology given to them to advance to a point where they are practically their equals. Seems to correlate to those early story lines.

    hopefully they have not given away too much in the trailer, because it kind of looks like they may have.
