Spurs methodically take down Thunder on Thunder home court. Very good game. Thunder big 3 scored 80 points, shot 50% from the field, played terrific. Still lost at home.

Spurs on the road with no Ginobili or SJax. Pops is the best coach in the business. He's got them playing on a fine edge. Even when they are missing parts. They choked the life out of the team and made the big 3 have to try to win the game on their own. Big 3 played as good as they posssibly could. San Antonio has a deep team.

Lakers or Spurs coming out of the West.

Westbrook took some really bad shots when the game got close at the end, some really really bad shots.

We beat them on the road without our starting backcourt!

    Thaaaaaaaat's Westbrook!

I'm telling you, they're gonna have to trade him or move him to SG. He's the achilles heal of that team and will be until he is moved out of the PG spot. He cannot handle pressure.

If Kobe swallows his pride, and runs the O through the post, the Lakers would be contenders. Unfortunately for them, I don't see that happening.

The Lakers are looking hungrier than ever now, I'll give them that.

The Spurs need to give the Rockets tips on how to scout and draft the right players. I love the fact that the core of that team was acquired through the draft and developed accordingly. The Spurs have been solid in that area for quite some time now.

The Spurs are following our blueprint. We forced OKC to expose themselves.

It's already happened. And we've given them tips as well. We've switched front office personnel on and off for several years. We know their tips and they know ours. We have excellent scouting and player valuation and evaluation. Spurs figured out the overseas thing before anybody else in the league. They've been doing it successsfully the longest, stashing good players overseas that they can either trade or bring over. But we've caught on and are doing that very effectively as well. Our scouting and FO's are very comparable.

Westbrook was the only reason OKC even had a shot in the game...

Yet, he's the sole reason they lost!

    What an enigma!!

You can't trust the guy down the stretch in the heat of the moment. He fouls it up again and again and again. We just got done beating them by ONE POINT! Guess who caused that???

It always come back to Westbrook. He can't keep his head screwed on. There's a bat flying around in there.

Were the Western Conference playoffs decided last year when the Lakers went 17-1 the last part of February and all of March and the Spurs had the best record?

Tony Parker top 3 in MVP rankings? Spurs are 3 games behind the Thunder, and he's been far their best player.

Spurs have had a core of Parker, Duncan and Ginobli. Easy to plug players into that core. Your opinion was mediocre.

Honestly had those shots went down everyone would have been cool with it however they were bad. In his defense (i was thinking please drive) he drove and got blocked and/or took a crowded layup.
The 3 for the whole team seemed like the legit shot at the end.

    Not impressed.

The Spurs have looked good in the regular season over the past few years only to breakdown in the postseason...Duncan is waaaayyy too old and no one else is good enough (or can stay healthy enough) to get them past the first round or 2. If you think the Spurs are suddenly one of 'the teams coming out of the west' you haven't been paying attention for the past 3 years...

Yet, the west is wide open this year, it wasn't that way the last 3, the Spurs are the same (haven't slipped a bit from last year + role players are growing), and the other usual suspects are worse. OKC is unproven, the same for Memphis. The plot is not predictable this year, can't wait.
