Assuming we buy out Fisher, this means we've added one player (Camby) and dropped 4 (Thabeet, Hill, Flynn, T-Will). That's a lot of slots to fill.
Will be interested to see if any team claims him off waivers. You'd only do that if you thought there was some other competition out there to pick him up. When we traded for TWill last year, Chase was backing up Shane and playing awful. Maybe a coincidence, but he picked up as soon as the trade went down, so that was the only good thing about the deal.
He was waived so that whatever caused his "upset stomach" wouldn't infect the other players on the team.
If he's a secret member of Clutchfans I want him to come out of the closet and lash out at the whole forum in a never before seen thread. This would be truly epic.
Nope, that's not at all what happened. He wasn't taking any chances, and when he did he laughably failed. People are just pointing that out. I'm sorry if you think pointing out someone's failure implies complaining when it certainly does not.
I was surprised to find out during TWill's tenure on the Houston Rockets that it was not a character flaw that was keeping him off the court but simply a lack of skill. He's been benched by three different coaches now, I wonder who will be the next team to sign him based on his reputation.
We basically turned all our 09 draft busts into a late first round pick & Camby. Pretty decent for 2 terrible players (Thabeet & Flynn), one who will be around for a few more years tops (Hill) and one with a terrible attitude who's not going play much longer ala Wafer.
I'm glad he is gone. Despite the occasional Clutchfans shoutout (which seemed very much calculated to me, the more I thought about it), this guy is probably one of my least liked Rockets since I have been following the team (not like Pippen, but I can't name anyone from the top of my head I liked less).
