Good trade for LA, but I don't know about this making them a favorite. Sessions has never even been in a playoff game. Point being we have no clue how he will perform with the increased pressure. Big shot Fisher is gone and as much as he's declined, that dude hits daggers and the refs allow him to get away with ish in the playoffs. And the Spurs (Jackson) and Clippers (Young) just picked up the wings they need, especially the Clippers. Nick Young is a 6-6 SG that's dropped 17ppg over the past 2 seasons, on quality percentages. And now he gets Chris Paul??
I think they Lakers did really well. Going from Fisher to Sessions is a huge upgrade, especially in Mike Brown's PNR scheme, and 18 minutes of Hill is a lot better than 18 minutes of Troy Murphy. And they still have Murphy if they decide they need to stretch the floor.
GREAT deal by the Lakers IMHO. They don't just get a starter caliber pg, they also dump Luke Walton's contract and get a nice healthy young body in Christian Eyenga. Hill is also a good backup. With only 3 freaking scouts on the team anyway, I don't trust their scouting department so picks wouldn't do anything good. I've always though Kupchak is one of the best GMs in the L but now I'm convinced he's THE BEST, bar None, GM in the entire league. Nobody can even come close. Even the Sterned trade was highway robbery on his side while still being OK deals for the Rox and NO.
Well thats good. So long as they can't trade for them (which Nets rejected their offers as well as Orlando) and they can't sign a big star in FA I'm happy.

Is this a Joke? Mitch gave Walton 30M, Artest 30M, Sasha 20M, Fisher 10M, Blake 16M and they still have the worst bench in the league today. In fact, can you name a Lakers that's currently underpaid?
I'm confused. Is this a win mainly because Fisher was so bad? I don't know much about Sessions, but this is his 4th team in 5 years and he couldn't beat out Johnny Flynn for the starting gig last year.
Look out for more of these <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/OUKi1fISf30" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
myopic laker fans expected williams (some still do in this thread), now sessions in the second coming.
