Trading the 09ers doesn't set up the summer. They are all expiring.

Like I said in the other thread. We traded a nickel for a dime. Good trade. But all we have gained is a nickel.

And when was the last time Rox landed a big FA and what's the outcome?

Did we get better as a team? check
Did we address our most glaring needs? check
Did we keep our future financial flexibility? check
    Did we keep

all of you who are complaining of trade deadline moves that likely will propel us into the playoffs whilst not giving up anyone of significance... GTFO

Now I know who owns a timemachine.

Edit: And I'm not sure if you can say that since most likely Dragic won't be resigned because I doubt Les wants to pay 3.4 million for Fisher to be a 3rd string pg. As a whole I'd rather have Goran and a 2nd round pick than Fisher and the 1st.

We are still waiting on Morey's signature move..

No doubt its starting to get frustrating but he does consistently make good trades.

First Rounder* and a great backup center for our scraps.. No complaints here.

One of these days morey is going to have the roll the dice though.

*I think the Rockets are targeting someone who will likely land in the 20-30 range.

Good. The less people like you around here, the better.

Only way Goran would re-sign is if we trade Lowry. He is unrestricted and there will be teams willing to offer a starting job to him (along with money around what Lowry got a couple of years ago).

$3.4M is nothing in the grand scheme of things (thats almost how much Les pays to purchase some second rounders) and there is a chance that we buy him out after Lowry returns OR he retires.

When has Les EVER bought someone out much less an expiring? And when has Morey ever paid to get rid of an expiring asset. He likes holding them and then trying to trade them.

Half of the people on here say they dont want to follow a team where everyone is subject to be traded and half complain because half of the team want traded. Everyone with an X-Box and access to the ESPN Trade Machine think they have the answer. Either way its Whine-a-palooza. Does anyone on here actually watch the games and get any enjoyment out of the sport?

Seems like we're always getting set up for the big move. Morey has shown he can make the small, smart moves, but he hasn't been able to pull off the big, bold move that takes the team to the next level. The team just stays good but not great, year after year. This was a purely disappointing trade deadline. It appears he's overvaluing some of our players. Really wish we could've gotten Bogut or Gasol.

I agree. If we can get fair value for Lowry, trading Lowry and signing Dragic to let him start might be a good plan of action.

This is wat les wanted and morey is delivering we WILL make the playoffs and we will not be a easy out for any team we face second we will have 2-3 first round picks if we miss the playoffs which I highly doubt that leaves morey with plenty ammo to get into the top 10 maybe even top 5 draft position picks Scola Martin lowry can be packaged for a top 5 pick so yes something big is goin down this offseason and we will draft a high pick without tanking like les did not want what a job by morey we will be a playoff team and still get a free agent maybe and draft at a high position this offseason will be crazy but great job by morey this guy has 2 deal with a lot and still delivers in morey we trust lol
