Actually you don't know that Kobe raped the girl. He said it was consensual. You and your double standards.
diversion attempt noted let's stick to the topic at hand. The charges were dropped against Zimmerman.
The charges were dropped in September 2004. The civil, not criminal, lawsuit was ultimately settled in March 2005.
Yes I have said that is a possibility and even made a post outlining that scenario. Perhaps you should review this thread before you jump to conclusions. As I stated earlier though we have two key pieces of evidence that likely (note I said "likely" not "for certain") point at Zimmerman's guilt. One is that he was warned not to confront Martin so it's an established fact that Zimmerman did start the confrontation. The second is that a witness says she heard Martin call for help, not Zimmerman. That is strong evidence that Zimmerman assaulted Martin first and Martin responded, Zimmerman then shot him. At that point Zimmerman cannot claim self defense since he put himself in the situation. As noted earlier this line of thinking is supported by smarter legal minds than myself who are more familiar with Florida's law.
Of course Zimmerman started the confrontation. That is without a doubt since Zimmerman himself admits to confronting Martin. Even what you describe is a confrontation. What is in question is who used violence first.
Not sure if you are being sarcastic but the witness who says she heard Martin calling for help, Daralene Cutcher, is white. http://www.wftv.com/news/news/witness-sanford-police-blew-us-teen-slaying/nLSqk/
George Zimmerman's father speaks, providing some additional context. Some points: -Zimmerman has received death threats and had to leave his home -Father claims that Zimmerman didn't follow or confront Martin -Zimmerman is hispanic and grew up in a multi-racial home -Zimmerman is not a racist -Public should be outraged at the treatment of Zimmerman in the media http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_...er-tells-a-newspaper-his-son-is-not-a-racist/ Trayvon Martin Case: George Zimmerman's father tells a newspaper his son is not a racist By Julia Dahl (CBS/AP) SANFORD, Fla. - The father of the neighborhood watchman who shot and killed a teenager last month has written a letter to a local newspaper saying his son is not a racist and has had to leave his home after receiving death threats. Robert Zimmerman delivered the letter Thursday to the Orlando Sentinel. George Zimmerman, 28, has been investigated by police for shooting Trayvon Martin, an unarmed 17-year-old, on the evening of February 26. Zimmerman, who volunteered with the neighborhood watch, was patrolling Retreat at Twin Lakes, the gated community where Martin's father lived, when he saw Martin and called 911 to report him as a suspicious person. Before police arrived, the two apparently got in a scuffle and Zimmerman shot and killed Martin. Zimmerman claimed he shot the teen in self-defense and Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee has said he has no grounds to arrest him. The case has been turned over to the State Attorney's office, which according to the Sun Sentinel newspaper may take several weeks to review the case. Robert Zimmerman's letter challenged critics who have said his son was the aggressor that night: "At no time did George follow or confront Mr. Martin. When the true details of the event became public, and I hope that will be soon," the letter said, "everyone should be outraged by the treatment of George Zimmerman in the media." Police have thus far refused to release tapes or transcripts of the 911 calls prior to Martin's death. The case has spawned a growing firestorm of criticism and charges of racism on the part of Zimmerman. A petition on Change.org calling for Zimmerman to be charged currently has more than 240,000 signatures. But George Zimmerman's letter claims Zimmerman is Hispanic and grew up in a multi-racial home: "He would be the last to discriminate for any reason whatsoever ...," the letter says. "The media portrayal of George as a racist could not be further from the truth." According to the Sun Sentinel newspaper, Lee has invited the U.S. Department of Justice and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to review his department's investigation.
I'm arguing for more facts, as I feel people have judged Zimmerman purely based on biased reporting and an incomplete set of facts. We just don't have enough information at this point.
What is the difference between a Hispanic white person and a regular white person? Especially if he is born in the US?
There aren't any new facts relevant to the case in what you have posted. The guy's father says he didnt do it? Really? Your mountain of fail grows.

That story doesn't provide specifics. He couldn't even tell who was crying -- he said it was "a boy". Trayvon was 17 years old -- his voice shouldn't have sounded like that of a boy. This witness doesn't help uncover the truth.
