For the record, I remember when the incident happened. batman didn't write in the thread, and offered anyone who wanted to could e-mail him and he'd send the details. I did. There was no reason why he would lie. He doesn't gain anything by lying about it. It doesn't really prove a point. Furthermore he'd have to have lied 4 years ago knowing that it could come in handy here. But basso and TJ have ignored truths with far more evidence presented to them in order to not have to abandon their beliefs even when facts came out that made those beliefs obsolete. They just would rather believe what wasn't true in order to hold on to their fear based beliefs. So I wouldn't expect them to believe this.
Seriously guys, that's not classy at all calling Batman a liar. I really don't care for politics so I have no problem with the mudslinging all of you guys do, but Batman is a real person who was very nice the only time I meet him. He has no track record of telling MacBeth type stories here.
"classy" and "batman" are concepts that do not belong in the same thought, much less the same sentence.
I don't quite understand what's not to believe.....celebrities, athletes, politicians, etc are all living breathing people who have families, have friends, have typical problems, and take a dump (maybe not on urinals) just like everyone else......so how is it so unlikely that Batman's story isn't indeed true recollection

i used to work for earl. great guy, but in a year i dont think he ever learned my name. it was just "hey, my man". especially now, but even 10 years ago the guy was living every day of his life in pain. if anyone ever gave their body to their team it was him. he used to rely on a cane quite a bit and i think now he is often in a wheelchair. people like t-mac should go hang out w/ earl for a bit and keep the long term health in mind. and dont worry about the naysayers - i believe you. its not like you have some macbethian tendency to spin these kinds of yarns. the story isnt even that far fetched. honestly, if bushs campaign had said the things about my family that they did i would hate them too (more than i already do!).

This thread, suggesting I am a liar for saying I spoke with Meghan McCain before she was even notorious or a celeb is even funnier now that one of my best friends has won two best comedy actor Emmy's (as well as donating 100K to my theatre) and I have made a rock opera in cooperation with a legit rock star by any standard. It is not any more exciting to know celebrities than it is to know anyone else and there is nothing to brag about in knowing them. They are just like everyone else only with weirder lives and oftentimes more money. Why basso would bring up a super old thread that did nothing more than make him look foolish only to post one more strange, stale joke over who is gay or not is a mystery but then everything about basso is a mystery.

i find the whole discussion rather bent. i don't understand why there is so much defensiveness by those on the left about their sexuality. Batman, pgabs, et al, keep insisting they're straight. could be, but why make such a big deal out of it? if Meghan has taught us anything, it's that there's nothing wrong with being strictly (or even occasionally) dickly.
