This has got to be biggest letdown of a trade deadline I can remember in recent history. The biggest trade was Ellis for Bogut. After that very few things happened. I guess the new CBA kind of restricted movement a little too much?
I think overall the entire team will play MUCH better now knowing that the trade deadline has come and gone and they are safe for the rest of this year. I expect chemistry to continue to build and as we get healthy again, we will make not only a push for the playoffs, but a push for a first round home court seed if possible. With our improved defense, and even tough Fisher hopefully won't play too much but his veteran playoff experiences, we will be a touch matchup for anyone in the first round to just sweep away. We could get on a hot streak of 7 games and beat any team in the west 4 out of 7...but then probably fizzle out in the second round in 6 games.
This. I expected a rejuvenated Kevin Martin coming guns blazings. He, above anbybody else, was seriously bothered by trade talks.
