It was reported 5 deals were still with the league office after the deadline pending approval. Not sure what they are or even if it was 5. The Nene deal was announced after the deadline. There are usually a few little trades that trickle down a few hours after the deadline. Doubt that there is anything left there now that we do not know about though..

    This.

Rockets are continually trying to lockdown that 8th seed though...

I am just glad something happened for the Rockets.

Something better be done about Fisher though. I can't root for the guy.

    Kobe - Shaq = Trade
Big three in Boston = Trade
    Kobe - Pau = Trade

Don't act like it doesn't happen. Ask the Clippers how all those top picks worked out for the last what.... oh ya, FOREVER. Come to think of it, we had a number one pick not that long ago and how did that work out? Having a team that is bad enough to get a top pick and then expecting that team to turn around any time soon is a pipe dream. Keep smokin that pipe while I watch my Rockets in the playoffs.

God bless those of you who still think the Rockets know what they are doing. You are people of great faith, loyalty, and patience. I have run out of all of those qualities, and have concluded that the Rocket's front office is entirely clueless. I will quietly pray for a new owner, our only hope.

just not true. btw: you can disagree with your team's management and still be a fan. i am not rooting for our demise. but i am not going to root to be mired in mediocrity. that i will not do. I actually like watching young, up-and-coming teams play basketball. i have nothing to fear from rebuilding and neither should you.

After every deadline, everybody is disappointed.

    Then the moves work out.

    Not kidding. Every single deadline.

Setting us up for what? To be the same team next year as we are this year?

Maybe a bigger red truck with Ipad 3s would work?

Another round of hype, another deadline strikeout.

Seems Morey's making a trend of it.

What took you so long to realize all this. None of these trades were blockbuster trades but they both set us up well for future moves and getting a star. If a star were available Morey would of made a play but no stars were on the block after dwight signed his extension. Stars dont come around very often, but when one comes up for a trade the rockets will be a team that can make a major play to obtain a star. Be patient.

one good thing to come out of this trade deadline: we kept Parsons, who is becoming my new favorite player.
