There have been plenty of guys we hated as opponents that came here and got a lot love. Van Gundy, Mutombo, & Barkley all come to mind.
In just a month or two, no. If he's here next year? God help me. I always had the sensation that Fisher was a guy who you WOULD like to have on your team. Which is why I prayed we'd never be put in this situation.
Fish > Flynn and we only need him for a couple weeks! why cf doesnt love him already is a mystery to me.. Flynn is atrocious.

He better start being good real fast or bring in cupcakes or something. I'm afraid that if we play the Lakers in the playoffs or something he'll loaf and lose it for us.
I hope you are right, but that is still up in the air. Obviously if we buy him out, this thread will have been pointless.
I never hated JVG, Mutombo, or even Chuck. Fisher is only a couple notches below the Malones of the world for me. I can only like him if he hits some Elie-esqe shots for us, and even then, it will be conditional.
Like him or not, he could be a good influence on some of the young guys in the lockeroom. He has always been one of the most respected vets in the Lakers organization, and been noted by alot of people that he has really helped smooth over alot of lockeroom situations in the past with guys like Kobe, Shaq, Bynum, etc. I have Laker hatred for him as well myself, but there are worse third string PG's to have in this league. Oh, and the dude can still hit 3's.
