Bima, i'm sorry ...no. we are gonna lose dragic for nothing, which means we lost brooks for nothing. yes we improved our playoff push, but we did nothing to improve our future. this is a joke

    1. Dragic may still be retained. I can see if happening especially if the Rockets trade Kyle Lowry or even Kevin Martin this offseason.

    2. The Rockets got a 1st round pick from the Brooks trade, which pick was packaged to get the Motiejunas pick.

    3. Besides, the Rockets has gotten at least 1 year of good play from Dragic, which is 1 year longer than they would have had with Brooks.

Think about it this way, was Thabeet, Hill and flynn REALLY going to help us more than camby and derek? yes camby and derek are old but they will bring greatly needed leadership in the locker room and a veteran presence on the floor, so maybe we can hopefully be more consistent now and not let our leads blow with the voice of fisher, and sometimes camby, don't forget about the playoffs either. Plus they are exp, and we acquired a much needed solid back up for PG (while lowry's out) and C while getting a late first round pick. Were they huge trades? No but they were good trades. So quit b*tching and be excited for out team. These traded DO help us, more then they look at first glance so be happy!!

By your rationale, then, every trade the Rockets have ever made more than a few years ago is a collosal failure . . . since all of those players have since gone to other teams and/or retired.

    Calm down, buddy.

EVERYONE who respects winning and championships !!!

He is the only player with a RING !!!

This makes basketball sense, locker room leadership sense. He's a professional and the current President of the Players Association. He will be a professional here just like he was in Utah.

In a vaccum these were good deals.

But it's hard to not be frustrated by out constant water-treading the last 3 years.

I'm assuming the rockets plan on re-signing Dragic and Lee since they decided not to deal them. I glad about that.

i respectfully disagree. we came up short this year. we needed to do something to improve the future of this team and we didn't. we are just treading water ...again. and btw...i'm plenty calm. just tired of expecting much and getting little.

No. Even if we lose Dragic for nothing, we still obtained a first pick with him. That was turned into Motiejunas. Brooks = Dragic and Motiejunas.

Morey has been slipping, TWill was a bust, losing Brooks for a guy that they have no control over was a poor move, 09ers didn't pan out, Lin missed - no big names want to even consider Houston.

Not looking good for your boy Bima.

    ;)

But I hope you are right and that Kevin Martin and maybe Scola are still in the line of trades, otherwise this will be an utter bust of a season.

    A complete waste of time.

You can't turn a turd into gold.

He did the best with what he had.

Hard to be disappointed, unless your expectations were way off base to begin with.

    Cough cough.

I was a little disappointed when we only got grammpa Camby. But then again we got him for cheap.

Then Fisher came along and that's the real disappointment kicks in. Add to it a little anger.
