God, I hate Derek Fisher...please, please, please buy him out so that I never have to see him in a Rocket uni. Oh yeah, go Mavs (kind of)!

6 years too late... while we're at it, why don't we round up saddam hussein and execute him?

The AB trade wasn't that exciting when it happened, but it looks great now because D-MO is looking like a big time prospect. You never know what DM can get for us with a 20's pick.

Hopefully Fisher will be bought out and gone once Lowry comes back healthy.

The fact is, The Mavs pick won't be any higher than 14 (Jordan Hill was selected at #14). In fact, it will be much lover (around #20).

I understand we get a pick in a talented Draft, but chances of picking a better overall player than Hill are pretty slim.

The deal makes sense. We have 2 centers, now. (Camby & Dalembert) So Hill wouldn't be needed at Center. We have 2 solid power forwards, as well. (Scola and Patterson) Jordan Hill wouldn't of gotten much minutes at either position so i was best to trade him. We get an expiring contract in Fisher, who we're supposedly trying to work a buyout with. As well as a 1st round pick from the Lakers. These aren't the deals we were expecting at all, but they make sense. At least, to me. If we don't buyout Fisher, THEN i'll be confused.

The Lakers get weaker in the playoffs this year because of this move. Fisher has made a career of hitting tough, clutch, game-winning shots in the playoffs.
