    Laker fan.

    Don't like giving up the pick when it seems it was gonna be used to get Beasley to now Hill who I don't know much about and doesn't help our SF needs. Rather have the 1st rounder in a good draft.

    How can we have traded fora top 20 protected pick from the Mavs? There is no such thing that exists. Mavs will never finish lower than 20.

    Basically, we traded Hill for a late first rounder, at best, a future late first rounder at worst. Fisher is a throw-in, and my guess is we'll buy him out of his contract.

    The Mavs aren't going to be bad enough for the protection to kick in. The Rockets will get that pick this year.

    Good move. Even if FIsher is bought out we get a 1st round pick in a deep draft.

    Why not? If playoffs started today, they'd have the 15th pick. There's a good chance we don't get the pick in 2012.

    At least we are on ESPN now. They are talking about Jordan Hill to the Lakers and Fisher gone. Not about us of course.

    By getting better players with playoff experience. You did read the part where I said THIS year's playoff? We basically traded that Minny early 2nd rounder for the Mavs' late 1st rounder.

    Fisher seems like insurance in case Lowry is still out.
