Rockets trade Jordan Hill to Lakers for Derek Fisher, 1st round pick

They have the same record as us currently

 

We traded Flynn and had no back up point guard right now.

 

2 maybe 3 first round picks for the Rockets this year.

T-Mac nets us 2 first round picks when all is said and done. Good job Daryl.

I don't think Fisher will see the court... even with Lowry out. I'd rather have Squid or C Lee running point than Fisher. Yes Fisher is THAT bad. and he's unfamiliar with our squad/offense (insert Mchale offense joke here).

 

Now let's hope Dallas doesn't make the playoff!

 

If we buy out Fisher, do we still have to pay his player option next year?

Hill for a first rounder. That's fine with me. Plus we have Fisher to teach the guys the art of flopping.

Now Morey just need to deal TWill and we are done with all the 09 busts.

 

Hill was done playing with Camby added to the roster, so it's a wash....and we swapped Minny's 2nd into Dallas' 1st for our trouble. And that pick means there's no worry about giving the Nets ours when we make the playoffs.

 

Morey has to have something else up his sleeve. He would never send Jordan Hill and a first rounder for D. Fish unless he has another trade he's setting up for.

 

trying to figure out why we took on fisher since hes got that player option? rockets must have something big planned, no way we can bring over the euros, draft 2-3 first rounders AND keep dead weight like fisher.

yeah, thats why i dont think it's a bad move...we get a pick, and it's likely he'll decline, he can get close to that amount on a one year deal with a contender.....so again, we dont give up much, for playoff help and no additional cpa space, like the Camby trade
