All it took was a late first round pick to get Sessions? Good deal by the Lakers.

Did you see Artest last night? He singlehandedly put the game away. He's been playing better, I wouldn't call him a weakness anymore. Now they only need to get Beasly and they get in the Championship conversation again, at least on paper.

Yeah he's been playing better. Mike Brown plays him at the end of games because he's a solid post passer and gets it into Bynum and Gasol, something Kobe has problem with down the stretch. His defense has improved from earlier in the season too.

What a savvy move by the Lakers. I don't understand why the rest of the league always bends over for them. It's frustrating to say the least.

Not a bad move by Cleveland. Sessions wasn't going to beat out Irving for minutes. Good player, but I doubt they get more than a late 1st rounder for him.

Are you impersonating a biased Lakers fan right now? Sessions is worth exactly that but what about taking on Luke Walton's bones? that deserved another mid to late first rounder. And Gilbert is the hypocrite talking about not helping the big teams in the league.

Why do the Lakers get whatever they want and giving up nothing??

This makes the Cavs worse, guess they want to for the lottery.

Sessions is a backup PG earning 4.3M a year. It's safe to say most teams in the league don't need a contract like that. Not to mention he has a player option after the season. Most teams will get nothing back for a first round, it can be case for Lakers too.

Yep, it's an upgrade and that says how awful Lakers have on 1. Now if MB can bench Fisher...

This is a HUGE win for the Lakers, Sessions is just as good or better than most starting PGs in the league.

They're a lucky franchise. It's better to be lucky than to be good. For the majority of their existence though, they've been both.

Great trade for la. I called this months ago. They're back in it now. Hopefully the nba doesn't have to see steve blake and fisher.

Championship type move. If they nab a small foward, it could really give them a boost.
