Top notch post. This whole situation isnt supposed to make sense. This is one conflicted kid. I dont think he is basking in the attention like Melo did. I think he is realizing that he isn't like those guys, and is having an emotional internal battle with himself.

The whole back and forth started with his statement that Orlando should move Howard. Not who's team would be better with him. Orlando is not going to move Dwight b/c they think he'd be better with HOU.

to me, it's no difference btw renting him or not. by the end of the season, w/ or w/o him, rox won't go anywhere. by the end of the season, he would not have been here if we rented him.

what makes you think we may have #% chance to convince him to stay? if he chooses to stay, why couldn't he stay in orlando? we have 0% chance unless houston were ny or la.

Because trading for a 26 year old who is an elite 1st-team ALL NBA sort of player is entirely different than trading for a guy who is not elite and is 32 years old already. Entirely different trade. Hugely different. One is a guy you build around..a Batman...the other is a Robin.

I read the other day that Howard's already amongst the top 5 all time on the list of players who've had 20/20 games.
