I'd rather him go to a crap team than a good team. Or even worse, a team in our division.

Hell, who's to say he doesn't help the Bills become spoilers and beat the Pats thereby helping our playoff position?

If he signs in Buffalo that will be the next best thing to resigning him outright.

Send him to a purgatory team that isn't in our division, me likey.

The only thing better would be Seattle, even further away from contention and the AFC South.

oh, i don't care enough to be mad. i'm glad we're not spending a boatload of cash on him, frankly. could never understand the concept of backing up the truck when we have good substitutes at his position. more concerned about spreading resources out to deal with actual team weaknesses.

As someone that's lived within 90 miles of Buffalo for the last nine years, huge mistake going to the Bills.

Hopefully "sleeping on it" is waiting for the Texans to match the offer if that is even possible.

ESPN.COM too. He's gonna sign unless the fiancee vetoes it, which I doubt.

Why are worried about a dude that played four games and got paid like 18mil. Screw that guy lets not forget he's above average just like shaub. You don't see us paying shaub Payton manning money to stay.

Does any one really fear going up against us. I would love that. It's clear that wades defense made him better. If he doesn't go to a team with a good dc he's screwed

The Arian contract is very good, he is one of best players on the NFL, and the texans got him for not a lot of money (considering other contracts)

kinda curious to see why he hasn't visited with other teams...the Bills can't be the only team interested  You definitely want to checkout all the teams before making a decision especially the Bills, cold weather field, not a good team for awhile, etc...

Foster has earned every penny. I'd like to keep Mario but if he goes he goes.

My good buddy is from Buffalo and is twisting himself in a pretzel over the Mario wait. They want him baaaaaaaaaaad. It's as much about feeling relevant as a franchise as it is about him.

The holdup is KILLING them. I feel bad and am dancing around it somewhat, but it's crystal clear that Buffalo isn't Mario's first choice, they wanted to get a big number from them, and his agent is stalling so he can run an auction from his cell. If Chicago, Seattle, Tampa, almost anyone else raises the money by a penny, he'll be on the next flight out. Good sign for the Bills' faithful that he's still there.

Nobody cares about the Bills faithful, your friend, or the bozos that live within 90miles of Buffalo. We've got our own problems to worry about. If you wanna talk about your pretzel friend and the whiny Buffalo fans take out a PSA or something.

Bills want to make Mario the richest defensive player in league history? Have at it. Utterly ridiculous.

Lighten up, Francis. It's interesting to see another perspective.

Honestly, the idea that a team can devote the type of money Mario's getting to a non-QB is mind-boggling. The idea that they can devote more than double Foster's guaranteed money($20mil vs $50mil) to a guy with Mario's injury history is even more absurd.

But I guess for the Bills with their capspace, it's not like they have anyone else to pay. And they were pretty close to being relevant last year that it would be worth it to energize the fans I guess. Still, Mario better stop getting injured if he wants to earn that money. All I can say is good luck to the Bills fans.
