If you're gonna blame someone blame the commissioner. He knew how much the Rockets wanted Howard, and that they've been planning for him all this time. He even sent Howard to San Antonio right before the trade deadline so he could get a bad picture of Houston. The Magic's next game is against the Nets today, that's all he wants Howard to think about. The Rockets could have rented Anthony, but they chose to hold out for Howard. Right now Orlando wants to trade with us, even if it is just a scare tactic to get Howard to opt in. If he doesn't, consider him a Houston Rocket. Howard won't want to be here until he sees how great this city is. He needs to make Williams come to Houston, why is a center chasing a point guard? If he likes it in Houston, and decides to sign for the max with the Rockets, Williams has no choice but to join the Rockets if he wants to win. The Rockets are built so well they can win games without their starting guards. Not many teams in this league can do that.
The mere fact that people post Howard to the Rockets type crap is just setting you for disappointment. Like every Christmas when you worked yourself up to believing you were getting a pony.
This This and This, did anyone actually believe we had a realistic chance at landing Howard barring some r****ded miracle? wtf? Was anyone disappointed that they didn't wake up to Jessica Alba this morning.
I'm ready for "Hang it up, Morey," or "In god, we trust; In Morey, we don't," after today. Prepare to disappoint and you won't be disappointed, trust me.
We have a similar thread every year after the deadline, so I won't b!#ch now. Haven't been less excited for the deadline in years, don't expect anything with significant relevance to happen for our team. But hey, let's see.

Way to immediately bump your own mediocre thread with this masturbatory display of shoulder patting. Some people, myself included, will be happy if the Rockets don't make silly moves just for the sake of hearing a splash.
