So if Dwight officially opts in. Morey would only have a few hours to come up with something. I hope he doesn't end up overpaying for other players. Would Deron Williams be one of the surprise trades? Pretty sure D-Will won't sign an extension with the Nets if theu strike out on Howard and they know it. My prediction Deron ends up in Houston for either a package starting with Lowry-Martin or a Dragic-Martin. Again, this would only be possible if they do not acquire Dwight Howard.
I don't think the Rockets are doing anything. I think DM jacked everything up in a failed attempt to get Dwight. Now, we're left with no upgrades. I hope I'm wrong... But I also hope Morey doesn't pull another "Thabeet" just to make it seem like he's working the phones. Yes, I'm bitter at the moment. Love my Rockets though.

People have called Morey's bluff and it's showing. He thought he had the right cards but turns out you can't keep shuffling low value and hope it somehow turns into high value. Morey will probably do a minor trade for a guy who we don't like at first and may play some nice games.
That's because teams are waiting for Dwight to make it official and opts in with Orlando. Then expect teams to scramble up to the last minute of the deadline.

I love how people think that Morey doesn't have a plan B or a C/D/E...Z. I'm sure he has an alternate plan if Dwight doesn't happen.
Usually the big deals happen just a few hours left in the deadline. So it'll get interesting in a few hours time. I dont think the Rockets will get Gasol and will stay quiet. Only deal might be a Lee to the Clippers.
