I thought this guy said he had an interview he was gonna release?

Throwing a couple quotes that he could of made up doesn't qualify as an interview.

I don't know if this guy is legit but to me this all sounds a little fishy

At this point I would invite it. Just to give Morey his way. So we can see what kind of plan we have in place and GM we have got. His plans for the Rockets are important to see if he has a good one or not.

Maybe if Morey feels he can sign Dragic to a reasonable extension if he lets him start, and thinks Dragic's #s as a starter are legit, then Lowry for Gasol makes sense. Or if he thinks Llull will be a star-level PG in the NBA.

I am actually pretty comfortable with Dragic at the point guard. I think I would move Lowry and Scola for Gasol too.

I agree Dragic has been playing wonderful as a starter. I say trade Lowry/Scola for Gasol.

I guess it will be ok if we get Gasol...Much rather trade Lowry for DWill if these Howard reports turn out to be true.

Maybe we could get both and pair D-Will with Gasol? That would be pretty sick.

I wouldn't include Scola with Lowry in a trade for Pau. I'd rather throw in all our scrubs before we deal Scola.

The chance to swing a deal with Lowry is about 15 percent. Likely below that.
No he did not say it.... He says Morey is known for making those bold moves but not necessarily.
As for Martin, nobody wants him so it seems.

Nah, you don't trade Lowry for Pau, especially for now.

That would be a desperation move for sure.

Get Kaman and call it a day.

Who would we have left? It'd just be Howard and Pau.

Ahh the famous last resort/fallback trade. Again, still hoping Morey finds something better.

I also like the idea of adding Pau Gasol and Kevin Martin to the team that beat the Thunder in Okc the other night. ;)

Then again, here's what the Lakers starting 5 could look like..

    Lowry
    Kobe
    Beasley
    Scola
    Bynum

    I hate it!

What if we could get both? It would still cost the Rockets Lowry, Scola, 1st round pick?

    Kaman/Dalambert
    Gasol/ Patterson
    Parsons/Budinger
    Martin/Lee
    Dragic/Flynn

thats a pretty good team with alot of size...

Problem with that is it immediately makes LA championship contenders for years. I think Lowry and Scola are too much to give up for a 31 year old Gasol. It's not like we're chasing a title with our current lineup and need that one piece to complete the puzzle. We will be losing 2 of our hardest playing and effective players for one very skilled but soft player.

Lowry and fillers/trash for Gasol, maybe. Not Lowry AND Scola. No way.

Yeah I like Dragic. Not saying he's better than Lowry but he could be. And he definitely does somethings now that Lowry doesn't. Of course you could say the same thing for Lowry. Plus Flynn actually looked decent tonight in his short minutes.

    This. Exactly.

I'd probably do Lowry, Twill, Morris, and a pick or two.
